Shall not my soul be subject to God? For from him is my salvation.
For he himself is my God and my savior, my helper; I shall not be shaken any more.
How long will you attack a man? You all kill, like a leaning wall and a shoved fence.
Nevertheless they planned to cast away my honor; they ran with a lie; with their mouth they blessed, and with their heart they cursed. Pause
Only to God be subject, my soul, for from him is my endurance.
For he is my God and my savior, my helper; I shall surely not be moved.
In God is my salvation and my glory; the God of my help and my hope are in God.
Hope in him, all assembly of people; pour out your hearts before him; God is our helper. Selah
Surely the sons of men are vain, the sons of men are false; in balances to do wrong, they themselves are from vanity together
Do not hope in injustice and do not long for plunder; if riches flow, do not set your heart on them.
Once God has spoken; these two things I heard:
For power belongs to God, and to you, Lord, the mercy, for you will repay each according to his works.
