τῆς συναγωγῆς σου ἧς ἐκτήσω ἀπ᾿ ἀρχῆς ἐλυτρώσω ῥάβδον κληρονομίας σου ὄρος Σιων τοῦτο ὃ κατεσκήνωσας ἐν αὐτῷ
Remember your congregation, which you acquired from the beginning; you redeemed the rod of your inheritance, this Mount Zion, which you dwelt in it.
Lift up your hands against their arrogance forever, all that the enemy has acted wickedly in your holy places
And those who hate you boasted in the midst of your feast; they set up their signs as signs, and they did not know

ἐν δρυμῷ ξύλων ἀξίναις ἐξέκοψαν τὰς θύρας αὐτῆς ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτὸ ἐν πελέκει καὶ λαξευτηρίῳ κατέρραξαν αὐτήν
As in a wooded grove they cut down her doors with axes; they smashed her all at once with axe and chisel.

They said in their heart, their kinship all together, Come, and let us burn up all the festivals of God from the earth

Let not the humbled one turn back ashamed; the poor and needy will praise your name
Arise, O God, judge your case; remember your reproaches, those by the fool all the day long.
May not the pride of those who hate you forget the voice of your supplicants; it has gone up continually to you
