Known in Judah is God; in Israel his name is great.
And his place was in peace, and his dwelling in Zion.
There he broke the powers of the bows, shield and sword and war. Selah
You enlighten wondrously from everlasting mountains
πάντες οἱ ἀσύνετοι τῇ καρδίᾳ ὕπνωσαν ὕπνον αὐτῶν καὶ οὐχ εὗρον οὐδὲν πάντες οἱ ἄνδρες τοῦ πλούτου ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτῶν
All the unintelligent in heart were troubled; they slept their sleep, and found nothing: all the men of wealth with their hands.
At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, those who mounted the horses fell asleep
You are awesome, and who will stand against you from then on, your wrath?
From heaven you caused judgment to be heard; the earth feared and was quiet.
When God rises up for judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
For the thought of a man will give thanks to you, and the remainder of thought will keep festival to you.
Make vows and pay them to the Lord your God; all who are around him will bring gifts.
To the awesome one and who takes away the spirit of princes, awesome among the kings of the earth
