The Koine Bible

For the end, concerning Idithun, to Asaph, a psalm

With my voice I cried out to the Lord; with my voice to God, and he gave heed to me

In the day of my affliction I sought God with my hands; by night before him, and I was not deceived; my soul refused to be comforted.

I remembered God and was glad; I meditated, and my spirit fainted. Selah

My eyes anticipated the watches; I was troubled and I did not speak.

I considered the days of old, and I remembered the years of eternity, and I meditated.

In the night I spoke with my heart, and my spirit kept searching.

Will the Lord cast off forever, and will he no longer continue to be well pleased?

or will he cut off his mercy to the end, from generation to generation?

Will God forget to show mercy, or will he shut up his mercies in his anger? Selah

And I said, Now I have begun; this is the change of the right hand of the Most High.

I remembered the works of the Lord, because I will remember from the beginning your wonders

and I will meditate on all your works, and on your practices I will muse

God, in the holy place, your way; who is a great God as our God?

You are the God who does wonders; you made your power known among the peoples.

You redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph, by your arm. Selah

The waters saw you, O God; the waters saw you and were afraid, and the abysses were troubled. A multitude of the sound of waters.

The clouds gave a voice, for indeed your arrows go through.

The voice of your thunder was in the wheel; your lightnings appeared to the inhabited world; the earth was shaken and was made trembling.

Your way is in the sea, and your paths in many waters, and your footprints shall not be known

You led your people like sheep by the hand of Moses and Aaron
