Shepherd of Israel, give heed; you who lead Joseph like sheep, who sit upon the cherubim, appear.
Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up your might, and come to save us
O God, turn us back, and cause your face to shine, and we shall be saved.
Lord God of hosts, how long will you be angry at the prayer of your servant?
You will feed us bread of tears, and you will make us drink with tears in measure.
You have made us a contradiction to our neighbors, and our enemies have mocked us.
O Lord God of hosts, turn us back, and shine upon us your face, and we shall be saved. Selah
You brought a vine out of Egypt; you cast out nations and planted it.
You prepared the way before it and planted its roots, and the land was filled.
Its shadow covered the mountains, and its branches the cedars of God.
It stretched out its branches as far as the sea and its shoots as far as the river.
Why have you broken down her fence, and all who pass along the way pluck her?
A boar from the forest has ravaged it, and a wild boar has fed on it.
O God of the forces, turn back now; look down from heaven and see, and visit this vine.
and prepare it, which your right hand planted, and upon the son of man whom you strengthened for yourself
Burned with fire and dug up at the rebuke of your face they will perish
Let your hand be upon the man of your right hand, and upon the son of man whom you strengthened for yourself.
And we shall not at all turn away from you; you will give us life, and we shall call upon your name.
Lord God of hosts, turn us back, and shine your face upon us, and we shall be saved.
