The sand of the seas and the drops of rain and the days of eternity—who will number them?
The height of heaven and the breadth of the earth and the abyss and wisdom, who will trace out?
Wisdom has been created before all things, and prudent understanding from eternity.
The root of wisdom—To whom has it been revealed, and who has known her cunning devices?
There is one wise one, greatly to be feared, sitting upon his throne.
The Lord himself created her, and saw her, and numbered her, and poured her out upon all his works.
with all flesh according to his gift, and he supplied it to those loving him
The fear of the Lord is glory and boasting and gladness and a crown of exultation
Fear of the Lord will delight the heart, and he will give gladness and joy and length of days.
It shall be well with the one fearing the Lord at the last, and on the day of his death he will be blessed.
The beginning of wisdom is to fear the Lord, and with the faithful in the womb it was created together for them
With men she laid a foundation of eternity, and with their seed she will be entrusted
The fullness of wisdom is to fear the Lord, and she makes them drunk from her fruits.
He will fill all their house with desires and the storehouses with the produce of it
The crown of wisdom is the fear of the Lord, causing peace and health of healing
εἶδεν καὶ ἐξηρίθμησεν αὐτήν ἐπιστήμην καὶ γνῶσιν συνέσεως ἐξώμβρησεν καὶ δόξαν κρατούντων αὐτῆς ἀνύψωσεν
And he saw her and counted her out; knowledge and understanding he rained down, and he exalted the glory of those who hold her.
The root of wisdom is to fear the Lord, and her branches are long life
An unjust anger will not be able to be justified, for the inclination of his anger is a fall to him.
Until a time a long-suffering man will endure, and afterward joy will spring up for him
Until the time it will hide his words, and the lips of many will declare his understanding
In treasures of wisdom are parables of knowledge, but piety is an abomination to a sinner.
If you have desired wisdom, keep the commandments, and the Lord will supply it to you.
For wisdom and discipline are fear of the Lord, and his favor is faith and meekness.
Do not disobey the fear of the Lord, and do not approach him with a double heart.
Do not be a hypocrite in the mouths of men, and with your lips be attentive.
Do not exalt yourself, lest you fall and bring dishonor upon your soul, and the Lord will reveal your hidden things and will cast you down in the midst of the assembly, because you did not approach in fear of the Lord and your heart is full of deceit
