He who fears the Lord will do it, and he who is self-controlled with respect to the law will take hold of her.

and she will meet him as a mother and as a woman of virginity she will receive him

He will feed him with the bread of understanding and will give him water of wisdom to drink.

He will be supported upon her and will by no means be bent, and upon her he will depend and will by no means be put to shame.

and he will exalt him above his neighbors, and in the midst of the assembly he will open his mouth

He will find gladness and a crown of exultation, and he will inherit an everlasting name.

Foolish men shall not lay hold of her, and sinful men shall not see her.

Far from arrogance are men of lies, and they shall certainly not be remembered with it.

Praise is not fitting in the mouth of a sinner, because it was not sent from the Lord.

For in wisdom praise will be spoken, and the Lord will prosper it.

Do not say, Because of the Lord I fell away; for the things that he has hated he will not do.

Do not say, He led me astray, for he has no need of a sinful man.

Every abomination the Lord has hated, and it is not pleasing to those who fear him.

He himself from the beginning made man and left him in the hand of his own counsel

If you wish, you will keep the commandments, and to do faithfulness according to good pleasure.

He has set before you fire and water; wherever you will, you will stretch out your hand.

Before men are life and death, and whatever he may delight in will be given to him

For great is the wisdom of the Lord; mighty in dominion and seeing all things.

And his eyes are upon those who fear him, and he himself will recognize every work of a man.

He did not command anyone to be ungodly, and he gave no permission to anyone to sin.
