To the one fearing the Lord no evil will meet, but in trial and again he will deliver him

A wise man will not hate the law, but he who acts hypocritically in it is like a ship in a storm

A prudent man will trust in the law, and the law is faithful to him as the questioning of oracles.

Prepare a word, and thus you will be heard; bind instruction, and answer.

The axle of a wagon, the inward parts of a fool, and his thought, like a turning axle.

A horse for mating is like a mocking friend; under every rider it neighs.

Why does one day excel another day, and every light of a day of the year from the sun?

In the knowledge of the Lord they were divided, and he changed times and festivals.

From them he exalted and sanctified, and from them he appointed for the number of days

And all men were created from the earth and from the ground, Adam.

In the abundance of knowledge the Lord separated them and altered their ways.

From them he blessed and exalted, and from them he sanctified and drew near to him; from them he cursed and humbled and turned them back from their standing.

As the clay of the potter is in his hand, all his ways are according to his good pleasure; so are men in the hand of him who made them, to give to them according to his judgment

Against evil is good, and against death is life; so against the devout man, a sinner.

And thus look into all the works of the Most High, two by two, one opposite the one.

And I, last, kept watch like one gathering reeds after the grape-gatherers

By the blessing of the Lord I came first, and like one who gathers grapes I filled the winepress.

For it is better that your children should beg of you than that you should look to the hands of your sons.

In all your works be superior; do not give blame in your glory

In the day of the completion of the days of your life, and in the time of death, give an inheritance

Fodder and a staff and burdens for a donkey, bread and discipline and work for a servant

Work him with toil and you will find rest; relax his hands and he will seek freedom.

A yoke and a strap will bend a neck, and for a wicked servant, twists and torments

Set him to work, so that he may not be idle, for idleness has taught much evil.

Set him to work as is fitting for him, and even if he does not obey, make his fetters heavy.

and do not be over much over all flesh, and without judgment do not do anything

If you have a servant, let him be as you, because you acquired him in blood

If you have a slave, lead him as a brother, because as your soul you will have need of him

If you mistreat him and he, having run away, departs, by what way will you seek him?
