Raise your hand against foreign nations, and let them see your dominion.
As you were sanctified among us before them, so may you be magnified among them before us.
and let them know you, as also we have known that there is no God except you, O Lord
Renew signs and alter wonders; glorify hand and right arm.
Raise up wrath and pour out anger; take away the adversary and crush the enemy.
Make haste in the time, and remember the oath, and let them declare your great deeds.
In the wrath of fire let the one being saved be devoured, and let those who do evil to your people find destruction.
Crush the heads of hostile rulers saying, There is no one except us.
Gather all the tribes of Jacob and inherit them, as from the beginning
Have mercy on the people, Lord, called by your name, and Israel, whom you have made like a firstborn son.
Have mercy on the city of your sanctuary, Jerusalem, the place of your rest.
Fill Zion with your acts of praise, and from your glory your people.
Give testimony to those who are at the beginning of your creations, and raise up prophecies over your name
Give a reward to those who endure you, and let your prophets be trusted.
Hear, Lord, the petition of your suppliants, according to the blessing of Aaron concerning your people.
And all those on the earth will know that you are Lord, the God of the ages
Every food the belly will eat, but there is food better than food.
The throat tastes game meats; so a discerning heart false words.
A crooked heart will give sorrow, and a man of much experience will repay it to him.
A wife receives every male, but there is a daughter of a daughter better than a daughter.
The beauty of a woman brightens the countenance, and it surpasses every desire of a man.
If there is upon her tongue mercy and gentleness, her husband is not among the sons of men.
The one who acquires a wife begins possession: a helper in accordance with him and a pillar of rest
Where there is no fence, a possession will be plundered, and where there is no wife, one wandering will groan.
For who will trust an armed bandit leaping from city to city?
So too for a man who has no nest and lodges whereever he stays overnight.
