Then, having called the two privately, he said to them, Bless God and confess greatness to him; give thanks to him and confess before all the living concerning the good things which he has done with you. Good is blessing God and exalting his name, honorably showing the words of the works of God, and do not hesitate to confess to him.
Good is prayer with fasting and almsgiving and righteousness; good is the little with righteousness rather than much with unrighteousness. It is good to do almsgiving rather than to store up gold.
And now, when you prayed, you and your daughter-in-law Sarah, I brought the memorial of your prayer before the Holy One; and when you were burying the dead, likewise I was present with you.
And when you did not hesitate to rise and leave your meal so that, having gone, you might wrap the dead man, you did not escape me while doing good, but I was with you.
