And Tobit called Tobias his son and said to him, See, child, give a wage to the man who came with you, and it is necessary to add to him.

And he said to him, Father, I am not harmed, having given him half of what I brought.

For he led me away to you in health, and he healed my wife, and he brought my silver, and he healed you likewise

And the elder said, He is justified to him.

And he called the angel and said to him, Take the half of all that you have brought.

Then, having called the two privately, he said to them, Bless God and confess greatness to him; give thanks to him and confess before all the living concerning the good things which he has done with you. Good is blessing God and exalting his name, honorably showing the words of the works of God, and do not hesitate to confess to him.

It is good to conceal a king’s secret, but it is glorious to reveal the works of God. Do good, and evil will not find you.

Good is prayer with fasting and almsgiving and righteousness; good is the little with righteousness rather than much with unrighteousness. It is good to do almsgiving rather than to store up gold.

For almsgiving delivers from death, and it itself will cleanse away every sin; those who do almsgivings and righteousnesses will be filled with life.

But those who sin are enemies of their own life.

I will not hide from you any word; I have said indeed that it is good to conceal a king’s secret, but to reveal the works of God gloriously.

And now, when you prayed, you and your daughter-in-law Sarah, I brought the memorial of your prayer before the Holy One; and when you were burying the dead, likewise I was present with you.

And when you did not hesitate to rise and leave your meal so that, having gone, you might wrap the dead man, you did not escape me while doing good, but I was with you.

And now God sent me to heal you and your bride Sarah

I am Raphael, one of the seven holy angels who present the prayers of the holy ones and enter before the glory of the Holy One.

And the two were troubled, and they fell on their face, because they were afraid.

And he said to them, Do not fear; peace will be to you; but bless God forever.

For I did not come by my own favor, but by the will of our God. So bless him forever.

All the days I was appearing to you, and I did not eat nor drink, but you were seeing a vision.

And now give thanks to God, because I am going up to the One who sent me, and write all the things that have been accomplished in a book

And they stood up, and they no longer saw him.

And they were confessing the great and wondrous works of God and how the angel of the Lord had appeared to them.
