Do you not know, brother, how you left your father?
Let us run ahead of your wife and prepare the house.
And take by hand the gall of the fish. And they went, and the dog came along behind them.
And Anna was sitting, looking around toward the road for her child.
And she noticed him coming and said to his father, Behold, your son is coming, and the man who went with him.
And Raphael said, I know that your father will open his eyes.
So then, anoint his eyes with the gall, and, having been stung, he will rub them and cast off the white films, and he will see you.
And Anna, running up, fell upon the neck of her son and said to him, I have seen you, child; from now on I shall die. And both wept.
And Tobit was going out toward the door and was stumbling, and the son ran up to him
And he took hold of his father and spread the gall upon his father’s eyes, saying, Take courage, father.
And when they had chided one another, he rubbed his eyes, and the white scales were peeled off from the corners of his eyes.
And seeing his son, he fell upon his neck and wept and said
Blessed are you, O God, and blessed is your name forever, and blessed are all your holy angels, because you chastised me and had mercy on me. Behold, I see Tobias my son.
And his son entered in rejoicing and reported to his father the great things that had happened to him in Media.
And Tobit went out to meet his daughter-in-law, rejoicing and blessing God, by the gate of Nineveh, and those who saw him going marveled, because he saw, and Tobit was confessing before them that God had shown him mercy.
And when Tobit came near to Sarah his daughter-in-law, he blessed her, saying, May you come in good health, daughter; blessed is God, who has brought you to us, and your father and your mother.
And there was joy for all his brothers who were in Nineveh.
And Achiacharos and Nasbas his cousin came, and the marriage of Tobias was brought about with gladness for seven days.
