To the angel of the church in Ephesus write: These things says the one holding the seven stars in his right hand, the one walking among the seven golden lampstands.
I know your works, and your labor and your endurance, and that you cannot bear evil, and you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and you found them to be false.
And you have endurance, and you have borne for my name, and you have not grown weary.
But I have against you that you have abandoned your first love.
Remember therefore from where you have fallen, and repent, and do the first works; but if not, I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand from its place, if you do not repent.
But you have this, that you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers, I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.
And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These things says the First and the Last, who became dead and lived.
I know your affliction and your poverty, but you are rich, and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison so that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
The one who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. The one who conquers will not be harmed by the second death.
And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These things says the one who has the sharp two-edged sword.
I know where you live, where the throne of Satan is, and you hold fast to my name and did not deny my faith, even in the days of Antipas, my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan lives.
But I have a few things against you, because you have those holding the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, to eat food sacrificed to idols and to commit sexual immorality.
So you also have those who hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans in the same way.
Repent therefore; but if not, I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.
Let anyone who has an ear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches. To the one who conquers I will give some of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written that no one knows except the one who receives it.
And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These things says the Son of God, the one who has eyes like a flame of fire, and whose feet are like burnished bronze.
I know your works, and your love and faith and service and patient endurance, and your works in the end are greater than the first.
But I have this against you, that you tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, and she teaches and deceives my servants to commit sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.
And I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent from her immorality.
Behold, I will throw her onto a bed, and those who commit adultery with her into great distress, if they do not repent from her works.
And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches will know that I am the one who searches kidneys and hearts, and I will give to each one according to your works.
But to you I say to the rest who are in Thyatira, those who do not have this teaching, who have not known the depths of Satan, as they say, I do not lay on you any other burden.
Only hold fast what you have until I come.
And the one who conquers and who keeps my works until the end, I will give authority over the nations,
and he will shepherd them with an iron rod, as the vessels of pottery are broken to pieces,
Just as I have received from my Father, I will also give him the morning star.
Let the one who has an ear listen to what the Spirit says to the churches.
