After these things I saw, and behold, a door opened in heaven, and the first voice which I heard like a trumpet speaking with me said, Come up here, and I will show you what must take place. After these things

Immediately I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne was set in heaven, and on the throne sat,

And the one seated was like a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance, and a rainbow was around the throne like an emerald in appearance.

And around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the thrones were twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white garments, and on their heads were golden crowns.

And from the throne come flashes of lightning, voices, and thunder; and seven lamps of fire are burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God,

And before the throne there was something like a sea of glass, like crystal. And in the middle of the throne and around the throne were four living creatures full of eyes in front and behind.

And the first living creature was like a lion, and the second living creature was like a calf, and the third living creature had a face like a human, and the fourth living creature was like a flying eagle.

And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes around and within; and they have no rest day or night, saying, Holy, holy, holy Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is coming.

And whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to the one seated on the throne, the one living forever and ever,

The twenty-four elders will fall before the one seated on the throne, and they will worship the one living forever and ever, and they will cast their crowns before the throne, saying

Worthy are you, the Lord and our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.
