And they brought in the ark of God and set it up in the midst of the tent which David had pitched for it, and they offered up burnt offerings and peace offerings before God.

And David finished offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, and he blessed the people in the name of the Lord

And he distributed to every man of Israel, from man to woman, to each man one loaf of bread, and a cake, and a cluster of raisins.

And he appointed before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, from among the Levites, those ministering, to call aloud and to give thanks and to praise the Lord, the God of Israel

Asaph the leader, and second to him Zechariah, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jehiel, with instruments, harps, and lyres, and Asaph with cymbals sounding aloud

and Benaiah and Uzziel, the priests, with the trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God

On that day then David appointed at the beginning to praise the Lord by the hand of Asaph and his brothers

Give thanks to the Lord, call upon him in his name; make known among the peoples his deeds.

Sing to him and praise him; declare all his wonders that the Lord has done

Praise in his holy name; let the heart seeking his favor be glad

Seek the Lord and be strengthened; seek his face continually.

Remember his wondrous works that he has done, his marvels and the judgments of his mouth

Seed of Israel, his servants, sons of Jacob, his chosen ones

He himself is the Lord our God; his judgments are in all the earth.

Remembering forever his covenant, his word which he commanded for a thousand generations

which he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac

He established it for Jacob as a statute, for Israel an everlasting covenant.

saying, To you I will give the land of Canaan, the portion of your inheritance

when they were few in number, as they were made small and sojourned in it

And they went from nation to nation and from kingdom to another people.

He did not allow a man to oppress them, and he rebuked kings on their behalf.

Do not touch my anointed ones, and do no evil among my prophets.

Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation from day to day.

For great is the Lord and greatly to be praised; he is fearful above all the gods.

For all the gods of the nations are idols, and our God made heaven.

Glory and praise are before him; strength and boasting are in his place.

Ascribe to the Lord, O families of the nations, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength

Give to the Lord the glory of his name; take gifts and bring before his face, and worship the Lord in his holy courts.

Let all the earth fear before him; let the earth be established and not be shaken.

Let the heaven be glad, and let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations, The Lord is reigning

Let the sea roar, with its fullness, and the tree of the field, and all that is in it

Then the trees of the wood will be glad before the Lord, for he has come to judge the earth

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy is forever.

And say, Save us, O God of our salvation, and deliver us from the nations, that we may praise your holy name and boast in your praises.

Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel, from the age and unto the age. And all the people shall say, Amen. And they praised the Lord.

And they left there, before the ark of the covenant of the Lord, Asaph and his brothers, to minister before the ark continually, the matter of day by day

And Obededom and his brothers, sixty-eight, and Obededom son of Jeduthun, and Ossa, for gatekeepers

and Zadok the priest and his brothers the priests before the tent of the Lord in Bamah, that in Gibeon

to offer up whole burnt offerings to the Lord on the altar of the whole burnt offerings continually, in the morning and in the evening, and according to all the things written in the law of the Lord, as many as he commanded upon the sons of Israel by the hand of Moses the servant of God

and with him Heman and Jeduthun and the rest chosen by name to praise the Lord, for his mercy is for ever

and with them trumpets and cymbals for making a loud sound and instruments of the songs of God, sons of Jeduthun, at the gate

And all the people went, each to his house; and David returned to bless his house.
