And those appointed were providing in this way for King Solomon and all the provisions for the king’s table, each month by his month, not failing a word, and they were bringing up the barley and the straw for the horses and for the chariots to the place where the king might be, each according to his assignment.

and he spoke about the trees, from the cedar that is in Lebanon and as far as the hyssop that goes out through the wall, and he spoke about the livestock and about the birds and about the creeping things and about the fish

And all the peoples were coming to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and he was receiving gifts from all the kings of the earth, as many as were hearing of his wisdom.

You know David my father, that he was not able to build a house for the name of the Lord my God because of the wars that had surrounded him until the Lord gave them under the soles of his feet

And behold, I am saying to build a house for the name of the Lord my God, according as the Lord God spoke to David my father, saying, Your son, whom I will give in your place upon your throne, he shall build the house for my name.

And now command, and let them cut me wood from Lebanon; and behold, my servants are with your servants, and I will give you the wage of your service according to everything that you may say, for you know that there is not among us anyone who knows how to cut wood, as the Sidonians.

My servants shall bring them down from Lebanon to the sea, and I will put them into rafts as far as the place where you may send to me, and I will release them there, and you shall take them up and do my will, to give bread to my house

And Solomon gave to Hiram twenty thousand cors of wheat and machir for his house, and twenty thousand beth of beaten oil; according to this Solomon used to give to Hiram year by year.
