Jotham was twenty-five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem; and the name of his mother was Jerusha the daughter of Zadok

And he did what was right before the Lord, according to all that Uzziah his father did, but he did not enter into the temple of the Lord; and still the people were being corrupted.

He himself built the upper gate of the house of the Lord, and in the wall of Ophla he built much.

And he built cities in the hill country of Judah and in the woods, and settlements and towers

He fought against the king of the sons of Ammon and prevailed over him, and the sons of Ammon were giving him year by year a hundred talents of silver and ten thousand cors of wheat and ten thousand of barley. The king of Ammon brought these to him year by year in the first year and in the second and in the third.

And Jotham grew strong, because he prepared his ways before the Lord his God.

And the rest of the words of Jotham, and the war, and his deeds, behold, they are written on the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.

And Jotham slept with his fathers and was buried in the city of David, and Ahaz his son reigned in his place.
