And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and he wrote letters to Ephraim and Manasseh, to come to the house of the Lord in Jerusalem, to make the Passover to the Lord God of Israel.

And the king and the princes and all the assembly that was in Jerusalem took counsel to keep the Passover in the second month.

For they were not able to do it at that time, because the priests had not been sufficiently sanctified, and the people had not been gathered to Jerusalem.

And the word pleased the king and the assembly.

And they established a decree to pass a proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to make the Passover to the Lord, the God of Israel, in Jerusalem; for a multitude had not done it according to the writing.

And the runners went with the letters from the king and the princes throughout all Israel and Judah, according to the command of the king, saying, Sons of Israel, turn back to the God of Abraham and Isaac and Israel, and he will return the escaped ones, the ones left over from the hand of the king of Assyria.

And do not become as your fathers and your brothers, who withdrew from the Lord, the God of their fathers, and he gave them over to desolation, as you see.

And now do not harden your necks; give glory to the Lord God and enter into his sanctuary, which he sanctified forever, and serve the Lord your God, and he will turn away the wrath of anger from you.

For in your turning back to the Lord your brothers and your children will be in mercies before all who led them away captive, and he will return to this land, for the Lord our God is merciful and compassionate and will not turn away his face from us if we turn back to him

And the runners were passing through from city to city in the hill country of Ephraim and Manasseh, and as far as Zebulun, and they became as ones mocking them and deriding them

Nevertheless men of Asher and from Manasseh and from Zebulun humbled themselves and came to Jerusalem

And in Judah there came to be the hand of the Lord to give them one heart to come to do according to the commandment of the king and of the rulers, in the word of the Lord

And a very great assembly was gathered in Jerusalem, a very great people, to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month.

And they arose and pulled down the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all in which they burned incense to the false ones they tore down and threw into the Kidron brook

And they sacrificed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the second month, and the priests and the Levites were shamed and purified, and they brought burnt offerings into the house of the Lord

And they stood in their station according to their judgment, according to the commandment of Moses the man of God; and the priests received the blood from the hand of the Levites

For a multitude of the assembly had not purified themselves, and the Levites were there to sacrifice the Passover for everyone not being able to purify themselves to the Lord

For the greater part of the people, from Ephraim and Manasseh and Issachar and Zebulun, they had not purified themselves, but they ate the passover contrary to the writing; and Hezekiah prayed concerning them, saying, May the Lord, the good one, make atonement for them.

of every heart that sets itself to seek the Lord, the God of their fathers, though not according to the purity of the holy things

And the Lord listened to Hezekiah and healed the people.

And the sons of Israel who were found in Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness, and praising the Lord day by day; and the priests and the Levites with instruments to the Lord.

And Hezekiah spoke to the heart of all the Levites and of those who had understanding, good understanding for the Lord, and they completed the feast of the unleavened bread seven days, sacrificing peace offerings and giving thanks to the Lord, the God of their fathers

And the assembly took counsel together to keep seven other days, and they kept seven days with gladness.

For Hezekiah began to provide for Judah the assembly a thousand bulls and seven thousand sheep, and the rulers provided for the people a thousand bulls and ten thousand sheep, and the holy things of the priests in abundance

And all the assembly rejoiced, the priests and the Levites and all the assembly of Judah and those found from Israel and the proselytes who had come from the land of Israel and those dwelling in Judah

And there was great gladness in Jerusalem; from the days of Solomon son of David, king of Israel, there had not been such a feast in Jerusalem.

And the priests, the Levites, arose and blessed the people, and their voice was heard, and their prayer came to his holy dwelling place, to heaven.
