In his days Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came up, and Jehoiakim became his servant three years, and he turned back and rebelled against him

And he sent against him the bands of the Chaldeans and the bands of Syria and the bands of Moab and the bands of the sons of Ammon, and he sent them forth in the land of Judah, to prevail according to the word of the Lord which he spoke by the hand of his servants the prophets.

Surely at the anger of the Lord there was in Judah to remove him from before him, because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he did.

And also innocent blood he shed, and he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, and the Lord was not willing to be appeased.

And the rest of the words of Jehoiakim and all that he did, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

And Jehoiakim slept with his fathers, and Jehoiakim his son reigned instead of him.

And the king of Egypt no longer continued to go out from his land, because the king of Babylon had taken from the wadi of Egypt as far as the river Euphrates all that belonged to the king of Egypt.

Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem; and his mother’s name was Neestha daughter of Elnathan from Jerusalem.

And he did the evil in the eyes of the Lord, according to all that his father did.

At that time Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon went up against Jerusalem, and the city came into siege.

And Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon entered into the city, and his servants were besieging it against it

And Jehoiakim king of Judah went out to the king of Babylon, he and his servants and his mother and his princes and his eunuchs; and the king of Babylon took him in the eighth year of his reign.

And he brought out from there all the treasures of the house of the Lord and the treasures of the house of the king, and he cut in pieces all the golden vessels that Solomon king of Israel had made in the temple of the Lord, according to the word of the Lord.

And he carried Jerusalem away captive and all the rulers and the mighty in strength, ten thousand captives, and every craftsman and the lockmaker; and there was not left except the poor of the land

And he carried Jehoiakim away to Babylon, and the mother of the king and the wives of the king and his eunuchs and the mighty men of the land he led away into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.

and all the men of might, seven thousand, and the craftsman and the locksmith, a thousand, all mighty men making war, and the king of Babylon led them into exile to Babylon

And the king of Babylon made Mattaniah his son king in his place, and he put his name Zedekiah.

Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem; and the name of his mother was Amital, daughter of Jeremiah.

And he did the evil in the sight of the Lord, according to all that Jehoiakim did.

For it was against Jerusalem by the anger of the Lord, and against Judah, until he cast them away from before his face; and Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
