Hear this word, cows of Bashan, who are on the mountain of Samaria, who oppress the poor and trample the needy, who say to their masters, Give us, that we may drink.

The Lord swears by his holy ones, because behold, days are coming upon you, and they shall take you away with weapons, and those with you they shall cast into boiling kettles, fiery plagues.

and you shall be carried out naked one opposite another, and you shall be thrown away into the mountain of Remman, says the Lord God

Go to Bethel and transgress, and to Gilgal multiply to be ungodly, and bring in the morning your sacrifices, on the third day your tithes.

I overthrew you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you became like a firebrand snatched from fire; yet not even so did you return to me, says the Lord

Therefore I will do thus to you, Israel; except that thus I will do to you: prepare to call on your God, Israel.

For behold, I am strengthening thunder and creating spirit and declaring to men his anointed one, making dawn and mist and treading upon the heights of the earth; the Lord God the Almighty is his name
