And the Lord established his word which he spoke against us and against our judges who judged Israel and against our kings and against our rulers and against every man of Israel and Judah

it was not done under all heaven as he did in Jerusalem according to the things written in the law of Moses

for a man to eat the flesh of his son, and a man the flesh of his daughter

and he gave them over as subject to all the kingdoms around us, for reproach and for a desolation among all the peoples around, among whom the Lord scattered them there

and they became below and not above, because we sinned against the Lord our God, so as not to listen to his voice

To the Lord our God belongs righteousness, and to us and to our fathers belongs shame of face, as on this day

All the evils that the Lord spoke against us have come upon us

And we did not entreat the face of the Lord, to turn each one away from the thoughts of their evil heart.

And the Lord kept watch over the evils and the Lord brought upon us, for the Lord is righteous in all his works which he commanded us

And we did not listen to his voice, to walk in the commandments of the Lord, which he set before us

And now, O Lord, the God of Israel, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand and with signs and with wonders and with great power and with a high arm, and made a name for yourself, as on this day.

We have sinned, we have acted impiously, we have done wrong, O Lord our God, in all your ordinances.

Let your wrath turn away from us, for we have been left few among the nations where you scattered us there.

Hear, Lord, our prayer and our supplication, and rescue us for your sake, and give us favor before the face of those who deported us

so that all the earth may know that you are the Lord our God, because your name has been called upon Israel and upon his race

Lord, look down from your holy house and understand toward us; incline, Lord, your ear and hear

Open, Lord, your eyes and see that it is not the dead in Hades, whose spirit has been taken from their inward parts, who will give glory and righteousness to the Lord.

but the soul that grieves over the greatness that goes bending and fainting, and the eyes that fail, and the soul that is hungry, they will give you glory and righteousness, Lord

For it is not according to the righteous deeds of our fathers and of our kings that we pour out our mercy before you, O Lord our God

For you poured out your wrath and your anger upon us, as you spoke by the hand of your servants the prophets, saying

Thus says the Lord: Bend down your shoulder and work for the king of Babylon, and sit upon the land that I gave to your fathers.

And if you do not listen to the voice of the Lord to serve the king of Babylon

I will cause to cease from the cities of Judah and from outside Jerusalem the voice of gladness and the voice of joy, the voice of bridegroom and the voice of bride; and all the land shall be for an uninhabited place from inhabitants.

and we did not listen to your voice to serve the king of Babylon, and you established your words which you spoke by the hands of your servants the prophets, for the bones of our kings and the bones of our fathers to be carried out from their place

And behold, they are cast out to the heat of the day and to the frost of the night, and they died in evil labors, in famine and in the sword and in plague

And you made the house over which your name was called, as it is this day, because of the wickedness of the house of Israel and the house of Judah

and you dealt with us, O Lord our God, according to all your kindness and according to all your great mercy

as you spoke by the hand of your servant Moses, in the day when you commanded him to write your law before the sons of Israel, saying

If you do not listen to my voice, indeed this great and much commotion will turn into a small one among the nations where I will scatter them there

For I knew that they would not at all listen to me, because it is a stiff-necked people, and they will turn back to the heart of them in the land of their exile.

And they shall know that I am the Lord their God, and I will give them a heart and ears hearing.

And they will praise me in the land of their exile, and they will remember my name

And they shall turn away from their hard back and from their evil deeds, because they shall remember the way of their fathers, who sinned before the Lord

And I will turn them back to the land which I swore to their fathers, to Abraham and to Isaac and to Jacob, and they shall have dominion over it, and I will multiply them, and they shall not at all be diminished

And I will establish for them an everlasting covenant, to be to them as God, and they shall be to me as a people, and I will no longer remove my people Israel from the land that I gave them
