And the Lord established his word which he spoke against us and against our judges who judged Israel and against our kings and against our rulers and against every man of Israel and Judah
and he gave them over as subject to all the kingdoms around us, for reproach and for a desolation among all the peoples around, among whom the Lord scattered them there
And now, O Lord, the God of Israel, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand and with signs and with wonders and with great power and with a high arm, and made a name for yourself, as on this day.
Open, Lord, your eyes and see that it is not the dead in Hades, whose spirit has been taken from their inward parts, who will give glory and righteousness to the Lord.
but the soul that grieves over the greatness that goes bending and fainting, and the eyes that fail, and the soul that is hungry, they will give you glory and righteousness, Lord
I will cause to cease from the cities of Judah and from outside Jerusalem the voice of gladness and the voice of joy, the voice of bridegroom and the voice of bride; and all the land shall be for an uninhabited place from inhabitants.
and we did not listen to your voice to serve the king of Babylon, and you established your words which you spoke by the hands of your servants the prophets, for the bones of our kings and the bones of our fathers to be carried out from their place
And behold, they are cast out to the heat of the day and to the frost of the night, and they died in evil labors, in famine and in the sword and in plague
For I knew that they would not at all listen to me, because it is a stiff-necked people, and they will turn back to the heart of them in the land of their exile.
And they shall turn away from their hard back and from their evil deeds, because they shall remember the way of their fathers, who sinned before the Lord
And I will turn them back to the land which I swore to their fathers, to Abraham and to Isaac and to Jacob, and they shall have dominion over it, and I will multiply them, and they shall not at all be diminished
And I will establish for them an everlasting covenant, to be to them as God, and they shall be to me as a people, and I will no longer remove my people Israel from the land that I gave them
