And these are the commandments and the ordinances and the judgments, all that the Lord our God commanded to teach you to do thus in the land into which you are entering there to inherit it

that you may fear the Lord your God, to keep all his ordinances and his commandments, as many as I am commanding you today, you and your sons and the sons of your sons, all the days of your life, that you may have long days

And hear, Israel, and keep to do, that it may be well with you and that you may multiply greatly, just as the Lord, the God of your fathers, spoke, to give you a land flowing with milk and honey

And these are the ordinances and the judgments which the Lord commanded the sons of Israel in the wilderness, when they went out from the land of Egypt: Hear, Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one.

And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

And these words, as many as I command you today, shall be in your heart and in your soul

And you shall teach them diligently to your sons and speak of them, sitting in the house and walking on the way and lying down and rising up.

And you shall fasten them as a sign on your hand, and it shall be immovable before your eyes

And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your houses and of your gates

And it shall be, when the Lord your God brings you into the land which he swore to your fathers, to Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, to give to you, great and good cities, which you did not build,

houses full of all good things which you did not fill, hewn cisterns which you did not hew out, vineyards and olive groves which you did not plant, and you shall eat and be filled

Take heed to yourself lest you forget the Lord your God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

The Lord your God you shall fear, and him you shall serve, and to him you shall cling, and by his name you shall swear.

You shall not go after other gods, from the gods of the nations all around you.

for the Lord your God is a jealous God among you; lest the Lord your God be angered in you and destroy you from the face of the earth

You shall not test the Lord your God, as you tested in the Testing.

You shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, the testimonies and the ordinances, as many as he commanded you.

And you shall do what is pleasing and what is good before the Lord your God, so that it may go well with you and you may enter and inherit the good land that the Lord swore to your fathers

to drive out all your enemies from before your face, as he spoke

And it shall be when your son asks you tomorrow, saying, What are the testimonies and the ordinances and the judgments which the Lord our God commanded us?

And you shall say to your son, We were slaves to Pharaoh in the land of Egypt, and the Lord brought us out from there with a mighty hand and with an exalted arm.

And the Lord gave signs and great and grievous wonders in Egypt, in Pharaoh and in his house, before us.

And he brought us out from there, in order to bring us in, to give us this land which he swore to give to our fathers

And the Lord commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, so that it might be well for us all our days, so that we might live, as also today

And it will be righteousness for us if we guard to do all these commandments before the Lord our God, just as the Lord commanded us.
