And Moses answered and said, If then they will not believe me nor listen to my voice, for they will say, The God has not appeared to you, what shall I say to them?

And the Lord said to him, What is this that is in your hand? And he said, A staff.

And he said, Throw it upon the ground. And he threw it upon the ground, and it became a serpent, and Moses fled from it.

And the Lord said to Moses, Stretch out your hand and grasp the tail. So having stretched out his hand, he grasped the tail, and it became a rod in his hand.

so that they may believe you that the Lord, the God of their fathers, has appeared to you, the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob

And the Lord said to him again, Put your hand into your bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom, and he took his hand out of his bosom, and his hand became like snow.

And he said again, Put your hand into your bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom and brought it out from his bosom, and again it was restored to the color of his flesh.

And if they do not believe you nor listen to the voice of the first sign, they will believe you, the voice of the last sign.

And it shall be, if they do not believe you with these two signs nor listen to your voice, you shall take from the water of the river and pour it out on the dry ground, and the water which you shall take from the river shall be blood on the dry ground.

And Moses said to the Lord, I beg, Lord, I am not sufficient, from before yesterday nor from before the third day, nor since you began to speak to your servant; I am weak of voice and slow of tongue.

And the Lord said to Moses, Who gave a mouth to man, and who made deaf and mute, seeing and blind? Was it not I, God?

And now go, and I will open your mouth and instruct you what you are about to speak.

And Moses said, I beg you, Lord, appoint another able man whom you will send.

And the Lord, being angered with wrath against Moses, said, Is not Aaron your brother, the Levite? I know that speaking he will speak to you, and behold, he himself will go out to meet you, and seeing you he will rejoice in himself.

and you shall speak to him and you shall put my words into his mouth, and I will open your mouth and his mouth, and I will teach you what you shall do

and he himself shall speak to the people for you, and he himself shall be your mouth, and you shall be to him the things toward God

And you shall take this rod, the one that was turned into a serpent, in your hand, with which you shall do the signs with it.

And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and he says, I will go and return to my brothers in Egypt and see whether they are still living. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.

And after those many days the king of Egypt died, and the Lord said to Moses in Midian, Go, depart into Egypt, for all those who were seeking your life have died.

And Moses, taking the wife and the children, mounted them on the beasts of burden and returned to Egypt. And Moses took the rod of God in his hand.

And the Lord said to Moses, while you are going and returning to Egypt, see all the wonders that I have given into your hands; you shall do them before Pharaoh, and I will harden his heart, and he will not at all send forth the people.

And you shall say to Pharaoh, Thus says the Lord: My firstborn son is Israel.

And I said to you, Send out my people, that they may serve me; if then you are not willing to send them out, look then, I will kill your firstborn son.

And it happened on the way, at the lodging place, that an angel of the Lord met him and was seeking to kill him.

And Sepphora took a flint and circumcised the foreskin of her son and fell at the feet and said, The blood of the circumcision of my child stood still

and she departed from him because she said, The blood of the circumcision of my child stood still

And the Lord said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went and met him at the mountain of God, and they kissed one another.

And Moses told Aaron all the words of the Lord that he had sent, and all the signs that he had commanded him

And Moses and Aaron went and gathered the elders of the sons of Israel.

And Aaron spoke all these words that God spoke to Moses, and he did the signs before the people.

And the people believed and rejoiced, because God had visited the sons of Israel and because he had seen their affliction; and the people bowed down and worshiped.
