Then Moses and the sons of Israel sang this song to God and said, saying, Let us sing to the Lord, for gloriously he has been glorified; horse and rider he cast into the sea.

My helper and protector became to me for salvation; this is my God, and I will glorify him, God of my father, and I will exalt him

The Lord shattering wars, the Lord is his name.

The chariots of Pharaoh and his power he threw into the sea; his chosen mounted three-ranked men he drowned in the Red Sea

He covered them with the sea; they sank into the depths like a stone

Your right hand, O Lord, has been glorified in strength; your right hand, O Lord, has broken enemies.

And by the abundance of your glory you crushed the adversaries; you sent out your anger, and it devoured them like stubble.

And by the spirit of your anger the water was divided; the waters were congealed like a wall; the waters were congealed, the waves, in the midst of the sea.

The enemy said, pursuing: I will overtake, I will divide spoils; I will fill my soul, I will destroy with my sword; my hand will rule.

You sent forth your spirit; the sea covered them; they sank like lead in mighty water

Who is like you among the gods, O Lord? Who is like you, glorified among the holy ones, marvelous in glories, doing wonders?

You stretched out your right hand; the earth swallowed them up.

You led in your righteousness this your people whom you redeemed; you comforted by your strength to your holy dwelling place

The nations heard and were angered; pangs seized the inhabitants of Philistia.

Then the rulers of Edom hastened, and the chiefs of the Moabites; trembling seized them, all the inhabitants of Canaan melted away.

Let fear and trembling fall upon them; by the greatness of your arm let them become stone, until your people pass over, Lord, until your people pass over, this people whom you acquired

Having brought them in, plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, in your ready dwelling, which you worked out, O Lord, a sanctuary, O Lord, which your hands prepared

The Lord reigns for the age and for age and still

For Pharaoh’s horse entered with chariots and riders into the sea, and the Lord brought back upon them the water of the sea; but the sons of Israel went through on dry ground in the midst of the sea.

And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took the tambourine in her hand, and all the women went out after her with tambourines and dances.

And Miriam led them, saying: Let us sing to the Lord, for gloriously he has been glorified; horse and rider he has cast into the sea.

And Moses brought the sons of Israel out from the Red Sea and led them into the wilderness of Shur, and they went three days in the wilderness and found no water to drink.

And they came to Marra and they were not able to drink from Marra, for it was bitter; therefore the name of that place was called Bitterness.

And the people kept murmuring against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?

And Moses cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree, and he threw it into the water, and the water became sweet there. There he set for him statutes and judgments, and there he tested him.

And he said, If by hearing you will hear the voice of the Lord your God and do the things pleasing before him, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his ordinances, I will not bring on you any disease that I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord who heals you.

And they came to Elim, and there were there twelve springs of water and seventy trunks of palms, and they encamped there by the waters
