14
I the Lord have spoken, and it shall come, and I will do it; I will not hold back, nor will I surely have pity. According to your ways and according to your devices I will judge you, says the Lord. Therefore I myself will judge you according to your bloods, and according to your devices I will judge you, the unclean, the famous one and the much one in provoking bitterly.
17
A sigh of blood, of the loins of mourning, it is; your hair shall not be braided upon you, and your sandals shall be on your feet; you shall not be comforted by their lips, and you shall not eat men’s bread.
21
Say to the house of Israel: Thus says the Lord: Behold, I am profaning my holy things, the pride of your strength, the desires of your eyes, and over which your souls have compassion, and your sons and your daughters whom you left behind shall fall by the sword.
23
and your hair on your heads and your sandals on your feet, neither shall you tear nor shall you weep; and you shall pine away in your iniquities, and each one shall comfort his brother
25
And you, son of man, will it not be in the day when I take from them their strength, the pride of their boasting, the desires of their eyes, and the pride of their soul, their sons and their daughters?
27
In that day your mouth shall be opened toward the one who is being saved, and you shall speak and you shall no longer be made mute, and you shall be for them for a wonder, and they shall know that I am the Lord
