Son of man, set your face against the sons of Ammon and prophesy against them
ἐρεῖς τοῖς υἱοῖς Αμμων ἀκούσατε λόγον κυρίου τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾿ ὧν ἐπεχάρητε ἐπὶ τὰ ἅγιά μου ὅτι ἐβεβηλώθη καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ ὅτι ἠφανίσθη καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ιουδα ὅτι ἐπορεύθησαν ἐν αἰχμαλωσίᾳ
And you shall say to the sons of Ammon, Hear the word of the Lord: Thus says the Lord, because you rejoiced over my holy things, because it was profaned, and over the land of Israel, because it was made desolate, and over the house of Judah, because they went into captivity.
τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ παραδίδωμι ὑμᾶς τοῖς υἱοῖς Κεδεμ εἰς κληρονομίαν καὶ κατασκηνώσουσιν ἐν τῇ ἀπαρτίᾳ αὐτῶν ἐν σοὶ καὶ δώσουσιν ἐν σοὶ τὰ σκηνώματα αὐτῶν αὐτοὶ φάγονται τοὺς καρπούς σου καὶ αὐτοὶ πίονται τὴν πιότητά σου
Therefore behold, I am giving you over as an inheritance to the sons of Kedem, and they shall encamp in their settlement among you, and they shall set their tents among you; they themselves shall eat your fruits, and they themselves shall drink your fatness.
δώσω τὴν πόλιν τοῦ Αμμων εἰς νομὰς καμήλων καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Αμμων εἰς νομὴν προβάτων καὶ ἐπιγνώσεσθε διότι ἐγὼ κύριος
And I will give the city of Ammon for camel pastures, and the sons of Ammon for a pasture of sheep, and you shall know that I am the Lord
τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾿ ὧν ἐκρότησας τὴν χεῖρά σου καὶ ἐπεψόφησας τῷ ποδί σου καὶ ἐπέχαρας ἐκ ψυχῆς σου ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν τοῦ Ισραηλ
Because thus says the Lord: because you clapped your hand and stamped with your foot and rejoiced from your soul over the land of Israel
τοῦτο ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ δώσω σε εἰς διαρπαγὴν ἐν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσω σε ἐκ τῶν λαῶν καὶ ἀπολῶ σε ἐκ τῶν χωρῶν ἀπωλείᾳ καὶ ἐπιγνώσῃ διότι ἐγὼ κύριος
Therefore I will stretch out my hand against you and I will give you for plunder among the nations and I will destroy you from the peoples and I will make you perish from the lands by destruction, and you shall know that I am the Lord
Thus says the Lord: Because Moab said, Behold, like all the nations is the house of Israel and Judah
τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ παραλύω τὸν ὦμον Μωαβ ἀπὸ πόλεων ἀκρωτηρίων αὐτοῦ ἐκλεκτὴν γῆν οἶκον Ασιμουθ ἐπάνω πηγῆς πόλεως παραθαλασσίας
Therefore behold, I am weakening the shoulder of Moab from his cities, from his extremities, the choice land, the house of Ashimoth, above the spring, the city of the seacoast.
to the sons of Keder against the sons of Ammon I have given them as an inheritance, so that there may be no remembrance of the sons of Ammon
And against Moab I will execute vengeance, and they shall know that I am the Lord.
λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾿ ὧν ἐποίησεν ἡ Ιδουμαία ἐν τῷ ἐκδικῆσαι αὐτοὺς ἐκδίκησιν εἰς τὸν οἶκον Ιουδα καὶ ἐμνησικάκησαν καὶ ἐξεδίκησαν δίκην
Thus says the Lord: because Edom acted by taking vengeance, by taking vengeance on the house of Judah, and they kept resentment and exacted punishment.
τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος καὶ ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τὴν Ιδουμαίαν καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσω ἐξ αὐτῆς ἄνθρωπον καὶ κτῆνος καὶ θήσομαι αὐτὴν ἔρημον καὶ ἐκ Θαιμαν διωκόμενοι ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ πεσοῦνται
Therefore thus says the Lord: and I will stretch out my hand against Idumea, and I will utterly destroy from it man and beast, and I will make it desolate; and those being pursued from Theman shall fall by the sword.
δώσω ἐκδίκησίν μου ἐπὶ τὴν Ιδουμαίαν ἐν χειρὶ λαοῦ μου Ισραηλ καὶ ποιήσουσιν ἐν τῇ Ιδουμαίᾳ κατὰ τὴν ὀργήν μου καὶ κατὰ τὸν θυμόν μου καὶ ἐπιγνώσονται τὴν ἐκδίκησίν μου λέγει κύριος
And I will give my vengeance on Idumea by the hand of my people Israel, and they shall do in Idumea according to my anger and according to my wrath, and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord
τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἀνθ᾿ ὧν ἐποίησαν οἱ ἀλλόφυλοι ἐν ἐκδικήσει καὶ ἐξανέστησαν ἐκδίκησιν ἐπιχαίροντες ἐκ ψυχῆς τοῦ ἐξαλεῖψαι ἕως αἰῶνος
Therefore thus says the Lord: because the foreigners acted in vengeance and rose up for vengeance, rejoicing from the heart to wipe out forever
τοῦτο τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους καὶ ἐξολεθρεύσω Κρῆτας καὶ ἀπολῶ τοὺς καταλοίπους τοὺς κατοικοῦντας τὴν παραλίαν
Therefore thus says the Lord: behold, I will stretch out my hand against the Philistines and will destroy the Cretans and I will destroy the remnant who dwell on the coastland.
ποιήσω ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐκδικήσεις μεγάλας καὶ ἐπιγνώσονται διότι ἐγὼ κύριος ἐν τῷ δοῦναι τὴν ἐκδίκησίν μου ἐπ᾿ αὐτούς
And I will execute great vengeance on them, and they shall know that I am the Lord, when I give my vengeance upon them.
