2
And you, son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre: Thus says the Lord: because your heart has been exalted and you said, I am God, I have dwelt in the dwelling of God in the heart of the sea, yet you are a man and not God, and you have given your heart as the heart of God.
7
Therefore behold, I am bringing upon you foreign plagues from the nations, and they shall empty out their swords against you, and against the beauty of your knowledge, and they shall lay your beauty low into destruction
13
In the delight of the paradise of God you were born; every precious stone you were bound with: sardius and topaz and emerald and carbuncle and sapphire and jasper and silver and gold and ligure and agate and amethyst and chrysolite and beryl and onyx; and with gold you filled your treasuries and your storehouses in you, from the day that you were created, you.
17
Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; your knowledge was corrupted with your beauty. Because of the multitude of your sins I cast you upon the earth; before kings I gave you to be made a spectacle.
18
Because of the multitude of your sins and of the injustices of your trade you have profaned your holy things, and I will bring out fire from your midst; this will devour you, and I will give you to ashes upon your land before all who see you
22
and say, Thus says the Lord: Behold, I am against you, Sidon, and I will be glorified in you, and you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have done judgments in you, and I will be sanctified in you
25
Thus says the Lord, Lord: and I will gather Israel from the nations where they were scattered there, and I will be sanctified among them before the peoples and the nations, and they shall dwell upon their land, which I gave to my servant Jacob.
26
And they shall dwell on it in hope, and they shall build houses and plant vineyards, and they shall dwell in hope when I execute judgment on all those who dishonored them round about them, and they shall know that I am the Lord their God and the God of their fathers
