For it shall be in the last days: the mountain of the Lord and the house of God shall be made manifest on the tops of the mountains, and it shall be lifted up above the hills, and all the nations shall come to it.
And many nations shall go and shall say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord and to the house of the God of Jacob, and he will announce to us his way, and we will walk in it; for from Zion a law shall go forth, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
And he will judge between the nations and will reprove many peoples, and they will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into sickles, and nation shall no longer take up sword against nation, and they shall certainly no longer learn to wage war.
And now, O house of Jacob, come, let us go in the light of the Lord
For he has forsaken his people, the house of Israel, because their land was filled from the beginning with divinations, like that of foreigners, and many foreign-born children became to them.
For their land was filled with silver and gold, and there was no number of their treasures; and the land was filled with horses, and there was no number of their chariots.
And the land was filled with abominations of the works of their hands, and they worshiped what their fingers had made.
And man bowed down, and a man was brought low, and I will by no means forgive them.
And now enter into the rocks and hide in the earth from the face of the fear of the Lord and from the glory of the might of him, when he rises to break the earth
For the eyes of the Lord are high, but man is lowly, and the loftiness of men shall be brought low, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
For the day of the Lord of hosts shall be upon every insolent and proud man, and upon every high and exalted one, and they shall be humbled.
and upon every cedar of Lebanon, the high and towering ones, and upon every oak tree of Bashan
and upon every mountain and upon every high hill
and against every high tower and against every high wall
and upon every ship of the sea and upon every sight of ships of beauty
And every man will be humbled, and the pride of men will fall, and the Lord alone will be exalted on that day.
And all the handmade things they will hide away
having brought into the caves and into the clefts of the rocks and into the holes of the earth, from before the fear of the Lord and from the glory of his strength, when he rises to shatter the earth
For on that day a man will cast away his silver and his gold abominations, which they made for them to worship to the vain things and to the bats
to enter into the caves of the solid rock and into the clefts of the rocks, from before the fear of the Lord and from the glory of the strength of him, when he rises up to shatter the earth
