And the Lord will have mercy on Jacob and will yet choose Israel, and they will rest upon their land, and the sojourner will be added to them and will be added to the house of Jacob

And nations shall take them and shall bring them into their place, and they shall inherit them and shall be multiplied on the land of God as male slaves and female slaves, and those who led them captive shall be captives, and those who ruled over them shall be ruled over by them

And it shall be in that day that God will give you rest from your pain and from your fury and from your hard servitude with which you served them

and you shall take up this lament over the king of Babylon and you shall say on that day, How the exactor has ceased, and the taskmaster has ceased

Prepare your children for slaughter because of the sins of your father, so that they may not rise up and inherit the land and fill the land with cities.

And I will rise up against them, says the Lord of hosts, and I will destroy their name and remnant and seed, thus says the Lord

And I will make Babylon a desert, so that hedgehogs shall dwell there, and it shall be for nothing, and I will make it a muddy pit for destruction

Thus says the Lord Sabaoth: as I have said, so it shall be, and as I have planned, so it shall remain.

to destroy the Assyrians from my land and from my mountains, and they shall be for trampling, and their yoke shall be taken away from them, and their glory shall be taken away from their shoulders

This is the plan that the Lord has planned against the whole inhabited world, and this is the exalted hand against all the nations of the inhabited world.

For what the holy God has planned, who will scatter it? And the high hand, who will turn it back?

In the year in which King Ahaz died, this word came to be.

Do not rejoice, all you foreigners, for the yoke of the one striking you has been broken, for from a serpent’s seed will come forth offspring of asps, and their offspring will come forth flying serpents.

And the poor shall be fed through him, and poor men shall rest in peace; but he shall destroy your seed by famine, and your remnant he shall destroy.
