The vision of Egypt: behold, the Lord sits upon a light cloud and will come into Egypt, and the handmade things of Egypt will be shaken before his face, and their heart will be defeated within them.

And Egyptians will be stirred up against Egyptians, and a man will fight against his brother and a man against his neighbor, city against city, and district against district

And the spirit of the Egyptians shall be troubled within them, and I will scatter their counsel, and they will inquire of their gods and their idols and those who speak from the earth and the ventriloquists.

And I will hand Egypt over into the hands of hard masters, and hard kings will rule over them, thus says the Lord of hosts

And the Egyptians shall drink water by the sea, and the river shall fail and be dried up.

And the rivers will fail and the canals of the river, and every gathering of water will dry up, and in every marsh of reed and papyrus

And all the green grass around the river and all that is sown by the river will dry up, wind-stricken.

And the fishermen will groan, and all who cast a hook into the river will groan, and those who cast nets and the anglers will mourn

And shame shall seize those working the combed flax and those working the fine linen

And those who make them shall be in pain, and all those who make the beer shall be grieved, and they shall be troubled in soul.

And the princes of Tanis will be fools, the wise counselors of the king; their counsel will be made foolish. How will you say to the king, We are sons of the wise, sons of kings from the beginning?

Where are your wise men now? And let them tell you, and let them say what the Lord Sabaoth has planned against Egypt.

The princes of Tanis have failed, and the princes of Memphis have been exalted, and they will cause Egypt to wander by tribes.

For the Lord has mingled for them a spirit of wandering, and they caused Egypt to wander in all their works, as a drunkard wanders and one who vomits together

And there shall be to the Egyptians no work that will make head or tail, beginning or end.

And on that day the Egyptians will be as women in fear and in trembling because of the face of the hand of the Lord Sabaoth, which he himself will lay upon them

And the land of the Judeans shall be to the Egyptians for a terror; everyone who names it to them shall be afraid because of the counsel which the Lord has counseled against it.

In that day there shall be five cities in Egypt speaking the language of Canaan and swearing by the name of the Lord; one city shall be called City of Asedek

In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the land of the Egyptians, and a pillar at its boundary to the Lord

And it will be for a sign forever to the Lord in the land of Egypt, because they will cry out to the Lord because of those oppressing them, and the Lord will send to them a man who will save them, judging he will save them

And the Lord will be known to the Egyptians, and the Egyptians will know the Lord in that day, and they will make sacrifices and will vow vows to the Lord and will repay

And the Lord will strike the Egyptians with a great blow and will heal them with healing, and they will turn to the Lord, and he will listen to them, and heal them.

In that day there will be a road from Egypt to the Assyrians, and the Assyrians will enter into Egypt, and the Egyptians will go to the Assyrians, and the Egyptians will serve the Assyrians.

In that day Israel shall be third with the Assyrians and with the Egyptians, blessed in the land

which the Lord of hosts blessed, saying, Blessed is my people who is in Egypt and who is in Assyria and my inheritance, Israel
