The Koine Bible

O Lord, my God, I will glorify you, I will sing praise to your name, because you have done wonderful things, ancient counsel, true. May it be, O Lord.

For you have made cities into a heap, fortified cities to fall; their foundations of the ungodly; a city shall not be built forever.

Therefore the poor people will bless you, and cities of oppressed men will bless you.

For you have become a helper to every lowly city and a shelter for those who were discouraged because of want; you will rescue them from wicked men, a shelter for the thirsty and the spirit of men being wronged

They will bless you as faint-hearted men thirsting in Zion, away from ungodly men to whom you gave us over

And the Lord of hosts will make for all the nations on this mountain; they will drink gladness, they will drink wine, they will anoint themselves with ointment

On this mountain hand over all these things to the nations, for this counsel is upon all the nations

Death swallowed up in strength, and again God took away every tear from every face; the reproach of the people he took away from all the earth, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

And they will say in that day, Behold, our God, on whom we hoped and rejoiced, and we will be glad in our salvation.

For God will give rest on this mountain, and Moab will be trampled down as they tread a threshing floor with carts

And he will stretch out his hands as he himself also humbled, to destroy, and he will bring low his insolence for what he laid his hands upon.

And the height of the refuge of your wall he will bring low, and it will come down even to the ground
