In that day God will bring on the dragon, the holy and the great and the strong sword, upon the fleeing serpent, upon the crooked serpent, and he will slay the dragon

In that day, a good vineyard, a desire, shall begin against it.

I am a strong city, a besieged city; in vain I will water it; for it will be taken by night, but by day the wall will fall.

There is none that did not lay hold of it. Who will set me to guard stubble in the field? Because of this enemy I have rejected it; therefore for this reason the Lord God has done all that he has commanded. I am completely burned.

Those who dwell in it shall cry: Let us make peace with him; let us make peace with him.

Those coming, children of Jacob, shall put forth and shall blossom, Israel, and the inhabited world shall be filled with his fruit

Has he struck him as he himself was struck, and has he been slain as he himself slew? Thus he will be slain.

In fighting and reproaching you will send them away; was it not you who planned with the harsh spirit to destroy them, with a spirit of wrath?

Therefore the lawlessness of Jacob shall be taken away, and this is his blessing, when I shall take away his sin, when they shall have placed all the stones of the altars broken to pieces like fine dust, and their trees and their idols shall by no means remain, cut down like a forest far away.

For the inhabited flock shall be released; it shall be as a flock forsaken, and for a long time it shall be for pasture, and there they shall rest

And after a time there shall not be in it any green thing, because the women coming from a sight: come here, for it is not a people having understanding; therefore the one who made them will not pity them, nor will the one who formed them surely have mercy on them.

And it shall be in that day that the Lord shall beat out from the channel of the river as far as Rhinocorura, but you gather the sons of Israel one by one.

And it shall be in that day, they shall sound with the great trumpet, and those perishing in the land of the Assyrians and those perishing in Egypt shall come, and they shall worship the Lord on the holy mountain in Jerusalem.
