As wax melts from fire and fire shall burn up the adversaries, and the name of the Lord shall be made manifest among the adversaries; nations shall be troubled from before your face.

When you do the glorious deeds, trembling will seize the mountains because of you.

From of old we have not heard, nor have our eyes seen a God besides you, and your works which you will do for those who wait for mercy

For he will meet with those who do righteousness, and they will remember your ways; behold, you were angry, and we sinned; because of this we went astray.

And we all became as unclean, all our righteousness as a garment cast off, and we have flowed away like leaves because of our lawlessnesses; thus wind will carry us.

And there is no one calling on your name and one who remembers to take hold of you, because you have turned your face away from us and have handed us over because of our sins

And now, Lord, you are our Father; we are, however, clay, all the work of your hands.

Be not very angry with us, and do not remember our sins in time; and now look, for we all are your people

The city of your holy one has become a wilderness; Zion became as a wilderness; Jerusalem has become for a curse.

Our holy house and the glory which our fathers blessed became burned with fire, and all the glorious things fell together

And in spite of all these things, you withheld yourself, O Lord, and kept silence, and humbled us very much
