The Koine Bible

I became manifest to those who were not seeking me; I was found by those who were not asking me. I said, Behold, I am, to the nation that did not call on my name.

I spread out my hands all the day to a disobedient and contradicting people, who did not walk in a true way, but after their sins

This people who provoke me to my face continually, they sacrifice in the gardens and burn incense on the bricks to the demons, which are not gods

and among the tombs and in the caves they sleep through dreams, those who eat swine flesh and broth of sacrifices; all their vessels are defiled

those who say, Keep away from me, do not come near me, for I am clean; this is the smoke of my anger, a fire burns in it all the days

Behold, it is written before me; I will not keep silent until I repay into their bosom

their sins and the sins of their fathers, says the Lord, who burned incense upon the mountains and upon the hills reproached me; I will repay their works into their bosom

Thus says the Lord: as the juice is found in the cluster, and they will say, Do not destroy it, because it is a blessing of the Lord in it, so I will do for the sake of this one who serves me; for the sake of this one I will by no means destroy them all.

And I will bring out from Jacob a seed, and from Judah, and they shall inherit my holy mountain; and my chosen ones and my servants shall inherit it, and they shall dwell there.

And in the forest there shall be folds of flocks, and the Valley of Achor for a resting place of cattle, for my people who sought me.

But you who have forsaken me and forget my holy mountain, and prepare a table for the demon and fill a mixed drink for Fortune,

I will hand you over to the sword; all of you shall fall in slaughter, because I called you and you did not obey, I spoke and you disregarded, and you did what was evil before me, and what I did not wish you chose

Therefore thus says the Lord: Behold, my servants shall eat, but you shall be hungry; behold, my servants shall drink, but you shall be thirsty; behold, my servants shall rejoice, but you shall be put to shame.

Behold, my servants shall rejoice in gladness, but you shall cry out because of the pain of your heart, and from the breaking of spirit you shall wail.

For you shall leave your name for a satiety to my chosen ones, but the Lord shall destroy you; and to those who serve him a new name shall be called.

which shall be blessed on the earth, for they shall bless the true God, and those swearing on the earth shall swear by the true God; for they shall forget their former affliction, and it shall not come up on their heart

For behold, the heaven shall be new and the earth new, and the former things shall not be remembered, nor shall they by any means come upon the heart.

But they shall find joy and gladness in her, because behold, I am making Jerusalem a gladness and my people a joy

And I will exult over Jerusalem and will rejoice over my people, and no longer shall be heard in her a voice of weeping nor a voice of outcry

And there shall not by any means be there an untimely one and an old man who will not fill out his time, for the young man shall be one hundred years old, and the one dying as a sinner one hundred years old shall also be accursed.

And they shall build houses and they shall inhabit them, and they shall plant vineyards and they shall eat their fruits.

And they shall not build and others shall inhabit, and they shall not plant and others shall eat; for as the days of the tree of life, so shall be the days of my people; the works of their labors shall grow old.

But my chosen ones shall not labor in vain, nor shall they bring forth children for a curse, for they are a seed blessed by God, and their offspring shall be with them.

And it shall be before they cry out, I will hear them; while they are still speaking, I will say, What is it?

Then wolves and lambs shall feed together, and a lion shall eat straw like an ox, but a serpent shall eat earth like bread; they shall not hurt nor destroy on my holy mountain, says the Lord
