Cursed is the man who has his hope on man and sets flesh of his arm upon him, and his heart will depart from the Lord.

And he shall be like the tamarisk in the wilderness; he shall not see when good things come, but shall dwell in salt places and in a desert, in a salty land, which is not inhabited.

And blessed is the man who has trusted in the Lord, and the Lord shall be his hope.

and he shall be like a tree flourishing by waters, and it shall cast its roots upon moisture, and it shall not fear when heat comes, and there shall be on it leafy branches; in a year of drought it shall not fear, and it shall not cease from bearing fruit

Deep is the heart beyond all things, and it is a man, and who will know it?

I, the Lord, am testing hearts and examining kidneys, to give to each according to his ways and according to the fruits of his practices.

A partridge called, gathered what it did not bring forth; making wealth, but not with justice; in the middle of his days they will leave him, and at his end he will be foolish.

A throne of glory, exalted, is our sanctuary

Hope of Israel, Lord, let all who forsake you be put to shame; let those who turn away on the earth be written down, because they have forsaken the fountain of life, the Lord.

Heal me, Lord, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved, for you are my boast.

Behold, they themselves are saying to me, Where is the word of the Lord? Let it come.

But I did not labor, following after you, and I did not desire the day of man; you know; the things going out through my lips are before your face.

Do not become to me for estrangement, sparing me in an evil day.

Let those who persecute me be put to shame, but let me not be put to shame; let them be terrified, but let me not be terrified. Bring upon them a bad day; with double destruction shatter them.

Thus says the Lord: Go and stand in the gates of the sons of your people, in which the kings of Judah enter by them and in which they go out by them, and in all the gates of Jerusalem

And you shall say to them: Hear a word of the Lord, kings of Judah and all Judah and all Jerusalem, those who enter in through these gates.

Thus says the Lord: guard your souls, and do not carry burdens on the day of the Sabbaths, and do not go out through the gates of Jerusalem.

And do not carry burdens out from your houses on the days of the sabbaths, and you shall do no work at all; hallow the day of the sabbaths, as I commanded your fathers, and they did not listen and did not incline their ear.

And they hardened their neck more than their fathers, so as not to hear me and so as not to receive discipline.

And it shall be, if by hearing you hear me, says the Lord, so as not to bring burdens through the gates of this city on the day of the sabbaths, and to hallow the day of the sabbaths, so as not to do any work

And kings and rulers sitting on the throne of David and mounted on their chariots and horses, they and their rulers, men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, shall enter through the gates of this city, and this city shall be inhabited forever.

And they shall come from the cities of Judah and from around Jerusalem and from the land of Benjamin and from the lowland and from the mountain and from the south, bringing whole burnt offerings and sacrifice and incense and manna and frankincense, bringing praise into the house of the Lord

And it shall be, if you do not listen to me to sanctify the day of the sabbaths, so as not to bear burdens and not to enter by the gates of Jerusalem on the day of the sabbaths, then I will kindle a fire in her gates, and it shall devour the squares of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.
