And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, on the tenth of the month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, and all his force, against Jerusalem, and they surrounded it and built fortifications around it with hewn stones all around.

And the city was broken through, and all the men, the warriors, went out by night by the way of the gate between the wall and the outer wall that was by the king’s garden, and the Chaldeans were around the city, and they went the way toward Arabah.

and he blinded the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him in fetters and the king of Babylon brought him to Babylon and put him in the house of the miller until the day on which he died

And the bronze pillars that were in the house of the Lord, and the bases, and the bronze sea that was in the house of the Lord, the Chaldeans broke in pieces, and took their bronze and carried it away to Babylon.

and the basins and the firepans and the vessels for pouring and the lampstands and the incense pans and the cups, whatever was gold, gold, and whatever was silver, silver, the chief cook took

And a bronze capital on them, and five cubits its length; the projection of the one capital and a network and pomegranates on the capital all around, all of them bronze; and according to these for the second pillar, eight pomegranates to the cubit, for the twelve cubits.

and one eunuch, who was overseer of the men of the warriors, and seven notable men, those in the presence of the king, those found in the city, and the secretary of the forces, the secretary to the people of the land, and sixty men from the people of the land, those found in the midst of the city

And it came to pass in the thirty-seventh year of the captivity of Jehoiakim king of Judah, in the twelfth month, on the twenty-fourth of the month, that Ulaimara­dach king of Babylon, in the year in which he reigned, took Jehoiakim king of Judah and brought him out from the house where he was being kept.
