How long will you not cease? Hold back, that we also may speak.
Why have we been silent before you like four-footed beasts?
Has anger used you up? For if you die, the earth under heaven will be left uninhabited, or will the mountains be overturned from their foundations?
And the light of the ungodly shall be quenched, and their flame shall not go out.
The light in his tent will be darkness, and his lamp over him will be extinguished.
Let the least catch his possessions; and his counsel be his stumbling.
And his foot has been cast into a snare, he has been entangled in a net.
Let snares come upon him; let thirst prevail against him.
His cord is hidden in the ground, and his snare is upon the path
Terrors would destroy him all around, and many would come around his feet in a narrow famine.
But a dreadful ruin is prepared for him.
Let the branches of his feet be eaten, and death shall devour his beautiful things.
And let healing be torn away from his dwelling, and let necessity seize him, by a royal cause.
It shall dwell in his tent; his splendid things shall be scattered with sulfur.
Below his roots shall dry up, and above his harvest shall fall down.
Let his remembrance perish from the earth, and let his name exist on the outer face.
May he drive him away from light into darkness.
He shall not be known among his people, nor shall his house be saved under heaven; but others shall live in his possessions.
At him the last groaned; but the first seized astonishment
These are the dwellings of the unrighteous, and this is the place of those who do not know the Lord.
