To whom do you cling, or to whom are you about to help, to whom, not one who has much strength and to whom a mighty arm is?
To whom have you given counsel, not one with whom is all wisdom? Or whom will you follow, not one with whom is greatest power?
To whom have you declared words, and whose breath is the one that came out from you?
The giants will tremble under the waters and their neighbors.
Naked is Hades before him, and there is no covering for destruction.
Stretching out the north over nothing, hanging the earth upon nothing
binding water in his clouds, and a cloud was not burst beneath him
He who holds the face of the throne, spreading out his cloud over it
He has enclosed a boundary over the face of the waters, to the end of light with darkness.
The pillars of heaven were stretched out and were astonished at his rebuke.
By his power he stilled the sea, and by his understanding he pierced the sea monster.
And the bars of heaven feared him, and by command he put to death the apostate dragon.
ταῦτα μέρη ὁδοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐπὶ ἰκμάδα λόγου ἀκουσόμεθα ἐν αὐτῷ σθένος δὲ βροντῆς αὐτοῦ τίς οἶδεν ὁπότε ποιήσει
Behold, these are parts of his way, and on the faint whisper of a word we shall hear in him; but who has known the power of his thunder, when he will act?
