And the word of the Lord came to Micah the Morasthite in the days of Jotham and Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, concerning what he saw about Samaria and about Jerusalem.

Hear, peoples, words, and let the earth pay attention and all who are in it, and the Lord shall be among you for a testimony, the Lord from the house of his holiness.

For behold, the Lord is going forth from his place, and he will come down and will tread upon the heights of the earth

And the mountains shall be shaken beneath him, and the valleys shall melt like wax from the face of fire, and like water being carried down in a descent.

Because of the impiety of Jacob, all these things, and because of the sin of the house of Israel; what is the impiety of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what is the sin of the house of Judah? Is it not Jerusalem?

And I will make Samaria into a booth of a field and into a planting of a vineyard, and I will drag down her stones into ruin and will uncover her foundations.

and all her carved images they will cut to pieces, and all her wages they will burn in fire, and all her idols I will make into destruction, because from wages of prostitution she gathered, and from wages of prostitution she collected together

Therefore she will cut herself and lament; she will go barefoot and naked; she will make a wailing like the dragons and mourning like the daughters of sirens

For her wound has prevailed, because it has come as far as Judah and has touched as far as the gate of my people, as far as Jerusalem.
