And these are the names of the sons of Aaron: firstborn Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar
These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests, the anointed ones, whom they consecrated to minister as priests.
ἐτελεύτησεν Ναδαβ καὶ Αβιουδ ἔναντι κυρίου προσφερόντων αὐτῶν πῦρ ἀλλότριον ἔναντι κυρίου ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σινα καὶ παιδία οὐκ ἦν αὐτοῖς καὶ ἱεράτευσεν Ελεαζαρ καὶ Ιθαμαρ μετ᾿ Ααρων τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν
And Nadab and Abihu died before the Lord, when they were offering strange fire before the Lord in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children, and Eleazar and Ithamar served as priests with Aaron their father.
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying
Take the tribe of Levi and set them before Aaron the priest, and they shall minister to him.
φυλάξουσιν τὰς φυλακὰς αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἔναντι τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἐργάζεσθαι τὰ ἔργα τῆς σκηνῆς
And they shall keep his watch and the watches of the sons of Israel before the tent of the testimony, to do the works of the tent
φυλάξουσιν πάντα τὰ σκεύη τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ κατὰ πάντα τὰ ἔργα τῆς σκηνῆς
And they shall keep all the utensils of the tent of the testimony, and the watchings of the sons of Israel, according to all the works of the tent
δώσεις τοὺς Λευίτας Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν δόμα δεδομένοι οὗτοί μοί εἰσιν ἀπὸ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
And you shall give the Levites to Aaron and to his sons the priests, as a gift given; these are mine from among the sons of Israel.
Ααρων καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ καταστήσεις ἐπὶ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ φυλάξουσιν τὴν ἱερατείαν αὐτῶν καὶ πάντα τὰ κατὰ τὸν βωμὸν καὶ ἔσω τοῦ καταπετάσματος καὶ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς ὁ ἁπτόμενος ἀποθανεῖται
And Aaron and his sons you shall appoint over the tent of the testimony, and they shall keep their priesthood and all the things belonging to the altar and inside the veil, and the foreigner who touches shall die.
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying
ἐγὼ ἰδοὺ εἴληφα τοὺς Λευίτας ἐκ μέσου τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἀντὶ παντὸς πρωτοτόκου διανοίγοντος μήτραν παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ λύτρα αὐτῶν ἔσονται καὶ ἔσονται ἐμοὶ οἱ Λευῖται
And I, behold, have taken the Levites from among the sons of Israel instead of every firstborn opening the womb among the sons of Israel; their ransom they shall be, and the Levites shall be mine.
γὰρ πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ἐπάταξα πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτου ἡγίασα ἐμοὶ πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν Ισραηλ ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους ἐμοὶ ἔσονται ἐγὼ κύριος
For mine is every firstborn; on the day when I struck every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified to myself every firstborn in Israel, from man to beast; they shall be mine: I am the Lord.
And the Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying
τοὺς υἱοὺς Λευι κατ᾿ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν κατὰ συγγενείας αὐτῶν πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω ἐπισκέψασθε αὐτούς
Number the sons of Levi by the houses of their fathers, by their peoples, by their kindreds; every male from a month old and upward you shall number them.
And Moses and Aaron enrolled them by the voice of the Lord, as the Lord commanded them.
And these were the sons of Levi by their names: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari.
And these are the names of the sons of Gershon, according to their clans: Libni and Shimei.
And the sons of Kohath according to their clans: Amram and Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel
υἱοὶ Μεραρι κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν Μοολι καὶ Μουσι οὗτοί εἰσιν δῆμοι τῶν Λευιτῶν κατ᾿ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν
And the sons of Merari, according to their clans, were Mahli and Mushi; these are the clans of the Levites according to the houses of their fathers.
To Gershon the clan of the Libni and the clan of the Shimei; these are the clans of Gershon.
ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν κατὰ ἀριθμὸν παντὸς ἀρσενικοῦ ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω ἡ ἐπίσκεψις αὐτῶν ἑπτακισχίλιοι καὶ πεντακόσιοι
Their enrollment by number of every male from one month old and upward: their enrollment was seven thousand and five hundred.
And the sons of Gershon shall encamp behind the tabernacle toward the sea.
And the leader of the house of the family of the people of Gershon was Eliasaph son of Lael.
ἡ φυλακὴ υἱῶν Γεδσων ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἡ σκηνὴ καὶ τὸ κάλυμμα καὶ τὸ κατακάλυμμα τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου
And the guard duty of the sons of Gerson in the tent of the testimony: the tent and the covering and the veil of the entrance of the tent of the testimony

ἀριθμὸν πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω ὀκτακισχίλιοι καὶ ἑξακόσιοι φυλάσσοντες τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν ἁγίων
According to number, every male from a month old and upward: eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the guard of the holy things
The clans of the sons of Kohath shall camp on the south side of the tent.
And the chief of the house of the families of the clans of Kohath was Elizaphan son of Uzziel.
ἡ φυλακὴ αὐτῶν ἡ κιβωτὸς καὶ ἡ τράπεζα καὶ ἡ λυχνία καὶ τὰ θυσιαστήρια καὶ τὰ σκεύη τοῦ ἁγίου ὅσα λειτουργοῦσιν ἐν αὐτοῖς καὶ τὸ κατακάλυμμα καὶ πάντα τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν
And their charge was the ark, and the table, and the lampstand, and the altars, and the vessels of the holy place, as many as they minister by them, and the covering, and all their work.
ὁ ἄρχων ἐπὶ τῶν ἀρχόντων τῶν Λευιτῶν Ελεαζαρ ὁ υἱὸς Ααρων τοῦ ἱερέως καθεσταμένος φυλάσσειν τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν ἁγίων
And the chief over the chiefs of the Levites, Eleazar son of Aaron the priest, was appointed to keep the guard of the holy things.
For Merari: the clan of the Mooli and the clan of the Mouses; these are the clans of Merari.
The number of them, by count, every male from a month old and upward, six thousand and fifty.
ὁ ἄρχων οἴκου πατριῶν τοῦ δήμου τοῦ Μεραρι Σουριηλ υἱὸς Αβιχαιλ ἐκ πλαγίων τῆς σκηνῆς παρεμβαλοῦσιν πρὸς βορρᾶν
And the chief of the house of the families of the people of Merari, Zuriel son of Abihail, shall camp on the side of the tent toward the north.
ἐπίσκεψις ἡ φυλακὴ υἱῶν Μεραρι τὰς κεφαλίδας τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ τοὺς μοχλοὺς αὐτῆς καὶ τοὺς στύλους αὐτῆς καὶ τὰς βάσεις αὐτῆς καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῶν καὶ τὰ ἔργα αὐτῶν
The duty of the sons of Merari was the boards of the tent, and its bars, and its pillars, and its bases, and all their implements, and their works.
and the pillars of the court all around and their bases and the pegs and their cords
οἱ παρεμβάλλοντες κατὰ πρόσωπον τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἀπ᾿ ἀνατολῆς Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ φυλάσσοντες τὰς φυλακὰς τοῦ ἁγίου εἰς τὰς φυλακὰς τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ ὁ ἀλλογενὴς ὁ ἁπτόμενος ἀποθανεῖται
And those encamping before the tent of the testimony eastward were Moses and Aaron and his sons, keeping the guard of the holy things for the guards of the sons of Israel, and the foreigner who touches shall die.
ἡ ἐπίσκεψις τῶν Λευιτῶν οὓς ἐπεσκέψατο Μωυσῆς καὶ Ααρων διὰ φωνῆς κυρίου κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν πᾶν ἀρσενικὸν ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω δύο καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες
All the numbering of the Levites whom Moses and Aaron numbered by the command of the Lord, by their clans, every male from a month old and upward, was twenty-two thousand.
εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων ἐπίσκεψαι πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἄρσεν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω καὶ λαβὲ τὸν ἀριθμὸν ἐξ ὀνόματος
And the Lord said to Moses, saying, Count every firstborn male of the sons of Israel from one month old and upward, and take the number by name
λήμψῃ τοὺς Λευίτας ἐμοί ἐγὼ κύριος ἀντὶ πάντων τῶν πρωτοτόκων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ τὰ κτήνη τῶν Λευιτῶν ἀντὶ πάντων τῶν πρωτοτόκων ἐν τοῖς κτήνεσιν τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
And you shall take the Levites for me; I am the Lord, instead of all the firstborn of the sons of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the cattle of the sons of Israel.
And Moses counted, as the Lord commanded, every firstborn among the sons of Israel
ἐγένοντο πάντα τὰ πρωτότοκα τὰ ἀρσενικὰ κατὰ ἀριθμὸν ἐξ ὀνόματος ἀπὸ μηνιαίου καὶ ἐπάνω ἐκ τῆς ἐπισκέψεως αὐτῶν δύο καὶ εἴκοσι χιλιάδες τρεῖς καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα καὶ διακόσιοι
And all the firstborn males according to number, by name, from one month old and upward, from their numbering, were twenty-two thousand, three hundred and seventy-two.
And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying
τοὺς Λευίτας ἀντὶ πάντων τῶν πρωτοτόκων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ τὰ κτήνη τῶν Λευιτῶν ἀντὶ τῶν κτηνῶν αὐτῶν καὶ ἔσονται ἐμοὶ οἱ Λευῖται ἐγὼ κύριος
Take the Levites in place of all the firstborn of the sons of Israel, and the livestock of the Levites in place of their livestock, and the Levites shall be mine; I am the Lord.
τὰ λύτρα τριῶν καὶ ἑβδομήκοντα καὶ διακοσίων οἱ πλεονάζοντες παρὰ τοὺς Λευίτας ἀπὸ τῶν πρωτοτόκων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ
And the ransom of the three and seventy and two hundred, those who exceeded the Levites from among the firstborn of the sons of Israel
and you shall take five shekels per head, according to the holy double drachma; you shall take twenty obols to the shekel
And you shall give the silver to Aaron and to his sons as the ransom for those who are in excess among them
And Moses took the silver, the redemption price of those who were in excess, for the redemption of the Levites
τῶν πρωτοτόκων τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἔλαβεν τὸ ἀργύριον χιλίους τριακοσίους ἑξήκοντα πέντε σίκλους κατὰ τὸν σίκλον τὸν ἅγιον
From the firstborn of the sons of Israel he took the silver, one thousand three hundred sixty-five shekels, according to the holy shekel
ἔδωκεν Μωυσῆς τὰ λύτρα τῶν πλεοναζόντων Ααρων καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ διὰ φωνῆς κυρίου ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ
And Moses gave the ransom of the surplus to Aaron and to his sons, by the command of the Lord, as the Lord commanded Moses
