And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying

Command the sons of Israel, and let them send out from the camp every leper and every one with a discharge of semen and every one unclean by a dead body

from male to female you shall send outside the camp, and they shall by no means defile their camps, among which I dwell among them

And the sons of Israel did so and sent them away outside the camp, as the Lord spoke to Moses; so the sons of Israel did so.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying

Speak to the sons of Israel, saying: If a man or a woman should commit any of the human sins, and that person by disregarding should disregard and trespass, that soul indeed

he shall confess the sin that he committed, and he shall restore the guilt, the principal and his fifth part, he shall add upon it, and he shall restore to whomever he offended against him

But if the man has no redeemer so as to give to him the trespass offering for him, the trespass offering being returned to the Lord shall be for the priest, besides the ram of atonement by which he shall make atonement with it for him.

And every firstfruits, according to all the holy things among the sons of Israel, as many as they may offer to the Lord, to the priest, it shall be his.

And each man’s holy things shall be his; a man, whatever he may give to the priest, shall be his.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying

Speak to the sons of Israel and you shall say to them: if a woman of a man, a man’s woman, should transgress and disregard him, overlooking him,

and if someone lies with her the lying of seed and it be hidden from the eyes of her husband and she conceals herself and she be defiled, and there was no witness with her and she is not caught in the act

and a spirit of jealousy comes upon him and he is jealous of his wife, and she has been defiled, or a spirit of jealousy comes upon him and he is jealous of his wife, and she is not defiled

And the man shall bring his wife to the priest, and he shall bring near her offering, the tenth of an ephah of barley flour; he shall not pour oil on it, nor shall he put frankincense on it, for it is a jealousy offering, a memorial offering, bringing sin to remembrance.

And the priest shall bring her near and shall set her before the Lord

And the priest shall take clean living water in an earthen vessel, and of the dust that is on the floor of the tent of testimony; and the priest, having taken it, shall cast it into the water.

And the priest shall set the woman before the Lord and shall uncover the head of the woman and shall put on her hands the memorial offering, the offering of jealousy; and in the priest’s hand shall be the water of the reproof, this cursed water

And the priest shall adjure her and shall say to the woman: If no one has lain with you, and if you have not gone astray to become defiled under your husband, be innocent from this water of conviction, of this accursed water.

But if you have gone astray while being under a man, or have been defiled, and someone has given his bed in you, besides your husband

And the priest shall adjure the woman with the oaths of this curse, and the priest shall say to the woman, May the Lord give you for a curse and an oath among your people, in the Lord’s giving your thigh fallen away and your belly swollen.

And this water that brings the curse shall enter into your belly, to swell the belly and to make your thigh fall away; and the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

And the priest shall write these curses in a book and shall wipe them out into the water of the reproof, of the one cursed under oath.

And he shall make the woman drink the water of the reproof, the accursed water, and the accursed water of the reproof shall enter into her

And the priest shall take from the hand of the woman the offering of jealousy, and he shall lay the offering before the Lord, and he shall bring it near to the altar

And the priest shall take a handful from the sacrifice, its memorial portion, and shall offer it on the altar, and after these things he shall make the woman drink the water

And it shall be if she has been defiled and has hidden herself from her husband, and the water of the conviction, the curse-bringing water, shall go into her, and her belly shall swell and her thigh shall fall away, and the woman shall be for a curse among her people

But if the woman has not been defiled and is clean and innocent, then she will be uninjured and will bear seed.

This is the law of jealousy, by which if the woman should transgress while under a husband and be defiled

Or a man on whom a spirit of jealousy comes, and he is jealous of his wife, and he shall set his wife before the Lord, and the priest shall do to her all this law.

And the man shall be innocent from sin, and that woman shall bear her sin.
