And these are the stages of the sons of Israel, as they went out from the land of Egypt with their power, by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

And Moses wrote down their departures and their stations by the word of the Lord, and these are the stations of their journey.

They set out from Ramesse in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day of the Passover the sons of Israel went out with a high hand before all the Egyptians

And the Egyptians were burying among themselves all the dead whom the Lord struck, every firstborn in the land of Egypt; and among their gods the Lord executed vengeance.

And the sons of Israel set out from Rameses and camped in Succoth

And they set out from Succoth and camped in Etham, which is on the edge of the wilderness

And they set out from Bouthan and camped by the mouth of Eiroth, which is opposite Beelsepphon, and they camped opposite Magdōlos.

And they set out opposite Eiroth and crossed through the middle of the sea into the wilderness, and they journeyed a way of three days through the wilderness, they and they encamped at Pikriais.

And they set out from Bitter Waters and came to Elim, and in Elim were twelve springs of water and seventy trunks of palm trees, and they encamped there beside the water

And they departed from Lemona and camped at Dessa.

And they set out from Dessa and camped in Makellath.

And they set out from Saphar and encamped at Charadath.

And they set out from Charadah and encamped at Makheloth

And they set out from Makēloth and encamped in Kataath.

And they set out from Kataath and encamped in Tarath

And they set out from Tarath and camped in Matekka.

And they set out from Mathekka and camped at Selmona.

And they set out from Selmona and encamped at Massuruth.

And they set out from Massenoth and camped at Banaia.

And they set out from Banaia and encamped at the mountain of Gadgad

And they set out from the mountain of Gadgad and encamped in Etebatha.

And they set out from Etebatha and encamped in Hebrona.

And they set out from Hebron and camped at Ezion-geber.

And they set out from Gesiongaber and camped in the wilderness of Sin, and they set out from the wilderness of Sin and camped in the wilderness of Pharan; this is Kadesh.

And they set out from Kadesh and encamped at Mount Hor, near the land of Edom.

And Aaron the priest went up by command of the Lord and died there in the fortieth year of the departure of the sons of Israel from the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first of the month

And Aaron was one hundred and twenty-three years old when he was dying on Mount Hor.

And when the Chananite, the king of Arad, heard it, and he too was dwelling in the land of Chanaan when the sons of Israel were entering,

And they set out from Hor the mountain and camped in Selmona.

And they camped by the Jordan, from Beth-jeshimoth as far as Abel-shittim, on the plains of Moab.

And the Lord spoke to Moses on the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho, saying

Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: You are crossing over the Jordan into the land of Canaan.

And you shall destroy all the inhabitants in the land from before you, and you shall remove their watch-towers and all their molten idols; you shall destroy them and all their pillars you shall remove.

And you shall destroy all the inhabitants of the land, and you shall dwell in it, for I have given you their land as an inheritance.

And you shall inherit their land by lot according to your tribes; to the more numerous you shall increase their possession, and to the fewer you shall lessen their possession; in whatever place his name may go forth, there it shall be; according to the tribes of your fathers’ households you shall inherit.

But if you do not destroy the inhabitants of the land from before your face, then those whom you leave from them shall be thorns in your eyes and darts in your sides, and they shall be hostile on the land on which you dwell.

And it shall be that as I had determined to do to them, so I will do to you.
