And the leaders of the tribe of the sons of Gilead son of Machir son of Manasseh, from the tribe of the sons of Joseph, came near and spoke before Moses and before Eleazar the priest and before the leaders of the fathers’ houses of the sons of Israel.

And they said to our lord, The Lord commanded to give the land of the inheritance by lot to the sons of Israel, and to our lord the Lord appointed to give the inheritance of Salpaad our brother to his daughters.

and they shall be wives to one of the tribes of the sons of Israel, and their inheritance shall be taken away from the possession of our fathers and shall be added to the inheritance of the tribe to whom they may become wives, and from the portion of our inheritance it shall be taken away

But if the release of the sons of Israel should take place and their inheritance should be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which the women may become wives, then their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fatherhood.

And Moses commanded the sons of Israel by command of the Lord, saying, Thus the tribe of the sons of Joseph says:

This is the word that the Lord has commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them be wives to whom it pleases in their eyes; only let them be wives within the tribe of their father.

And the inheritance of the sons of Israel shall not be turned around from tribe to tribe, because each one in the inheritance of the tribe of his paternal clan the sons of Israel shall cling.

And every daughter possessing an inheritance from the tribes of the sons of Israel shall be wives to one of those from the people of her father, so that the sons of Israel may each possess his paternal inheritance.

And an inheritance shall not be transferred from one tribe to another tribe, but each shall be attached in his inheritance; the sons of Israel shall adhere.

As the Lord commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad.

And Therza and Egla and Melcha and Noua and Maala, the daughters of Salpaad, became to their cousins.

from the clan of the tribe of Manasseh, the sons of Joseph, they became wives, and their inheritance came to be upon the tribe of the clan of their father

These are the commandments and the ordinances and the judgments which the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses on the plains of Moab, at the Jordan opposite Jericho.
