My spirit rises early to you from the night, O God, because your commandments are light upon the earth; learn righteousness, you who dwell upon the earth

For the ungodly has ceased; he shall by no means learn righteousness; on the earth he shall by no means do truth. Let the ungodly be taken away, lest he see the glory of the Lord.

Lord, your arm is exalted, and they did not know; but let them be ashamed when they know. Zeal will take an unlearned people, and now fire will devour the adversaries.

Lord our God, give us peace, for you have given back everything to us.

O Lord our God, possess us; O Lord, besides you we know no other; your name we call upon.

But the dead shall by no means see life, nor shall physicians by no means raise them up; therefore you brought upon them and destroyed them, and you carried off every male of them.

Add evils to them, O Lord; add evils to the glorious ones of the earth.

Lord, in affliction I remembered you; in slight affliction your discipline to us.

And as she who is in labor draws near to give birth and in her pain has cried out, so we have become to your beloved.

Through your fear, O Lord, we conceived in the womb and labored and gave birth; we made a spirit of your salvation on the earth. We shall not fall, but those who dwell on the earth shall fall.

The dead shall rise and those in the tombs shall be raised, and those in the earth shall rejoice, for the dew from you is a healing to them, but the land of the ungodly shall fall.

Go, my people, enter into your chambers, shut your door, hide yourself for a little while, until the anger of the Lord passes by.
