Foreign nations went up upon your altar; they were trampling with their sandals in arrogance.
because the sons of Jerusalem defiled the holy things of the Lord, they profaned the gifts of God in lawless deeds
Because of these things he said, Throw them far away from me; I do not take pleasure in them
The beauty of her glory was brought to nothing before God; she was dishonored until the end.
The sons and the daughters are in evil captivity, with their neck under a seal, marked among the nations.
According to their sins he did to them, because he abandoned them into the hands of those overpowering them
For he turned away his face from their mercy, young man and old man and their children, altogether, because they did evil, altogether, so as not to listen
And the heaven was burdened, and the earth abhorred them, because not every man on it did as much as they did.
and the earth shall know all your judgments, all the righteous ones, O God
They set the sons of Jerusalem for mockery, instead of harlots in her; everyone who passed by went in opposite the sun.
They mocked with their lawless deeds, just as they themselves did; before the sun they displayed their injustices.
and daughters of Jerusalem, profane, according to your judgment, because they themselves defiled themselves in the mixing of mixing
My belly and my inward parts are in pain because of these things.
I will justify you, O God, in uprightness of heart, because in your judgments is your righteousness, O God
for you have repaid the sinners according to their works and according to their sins, the exceedingly evil ones
You uncovered their sins, so that your judgment might be seen; you erased their memorial from the earth
God is a righteous judge and he will not show partiality to a person
For the nations reproached Jerusalem; in trampling her beauty was pulled down from a throne of glory
She girded sackcloth around herself instead of a garment of beauty, a rope around her head instead of a crown
He took away the crown of glory that God had put on her; in dishonor her beauty was thrown down to the earth
And I saw, and I begged the face of the Lord, and I said, Make it enough, Lord, to lay your hand heavy upon Jerusalem in the bringing on of the nations.
For they mocked and did not spare, in wrath and anger, with resentment, and they will be brought to an end if you, O Lord, do not rebuke them in your wrath
For not in jealousy did they act, but in desire of soul to pour out their anger upon us in plundering
Do not delay, O God, to repay them on their heads, for the pride of the dragon to be spoken in dishonor
And I did not delay until God showed me his insolence, pierced out on the mountains of Egypt, more than least esteemed on land and sea
his body being carried about on the waves in much insolence, and there was none burying him, because he had despised him in dishonor
He did not reckon that he is a man, and afterward he did not reckon.
He said, I am lord of earth and sea, and he did not know that God is great, mighty in his great strength
He himself is king over the heavens and judging kings and rulers.
the one who raises me up to glory and puts the arrogant to sleep into eternal destruction in dishonor, because they did not know him
And now see, you great men of the earth, the judgment of the Lord, that a great king and righteous is judging the one under heaven.
Bless God, you who fear the Lord in knowledge, for the mercy of the Lord is upon those who fear him with judgment.
to distinguish between the righteous and the sinner, to give to sinners forever according to their works
and to have mercy on a righteous man from the humiliation of a sinner and to repay the sinner because of what he did to the righteous man
For the Lord is good to those who call upon him in patience, to act according to his mercy toward his holy ones, to stand always before him in strength.
Blessed is the Lord forever before his servants
