The Koine Bible

Lord God, I will praise your name with exultation, in the midst of those who know your righteous judgments.

For you are good and merciful, the refuge of the poor; when I cry out to you, do not pass me by in silence.

For no one will take spoils from a mighty man, and who will take from all the things you have made if not you give?

For man and his portion from you, by measure he will not add to be more than your judgment, O God.

In our being afflicted, we shall call upon you for help, and you will not turn away our supplication, because you are our God.

Do not weigh down your hand upon us, lest by necessity we sin.

And if you do not turn us back, we shall not desist, but we shall come against you.

For if I am hungry, I will cry out to you, O God, and you will give me.

You feed the birds and the fish, by your giving rain to deserts for the sprouting of grass

You prepared fodder in the wilderness for every living thing, and if they hunger, to you they will lift up their face

You feed the kings and rulers and peoples, O God, and of the poor and needy who is the hope except you, Lord?

And you will hear that who is good and gentle except you, to gladden the soul of the humble one in the opening of your hand in mercy

A man’s kindness is with sparingness, and tomorrow; and even if he does a second time, without murmuring, even this you would marvel at.

But your gift is very much with kindness and rich, and the one whose hope is upon you will not be sparing in gift

Over all the earth is your mercy, O Lord, in kindness

Blessed is he of whom God remembers with the measure of contentment; if a man has more than enough, he sins.

Enough is moderation in righteousness, and in this the blessing of the Lord is unto fullness in righteousness.

Let those who fear the Lord be glad in good things, and your kindness upon Israel in your kingdom.

Blessed is the glory of the Lord, for he himself is our king
