From Zion, the splendor of his beauty; God will come manifestly.
Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence; fire shall burn before him, and around him there shall be a very great storm.
He will call the heaven above and the earth to judge his people.
Gather to him his holy ones, those making his covenant over sacrifices.
And the heavens will declare his righteousness, because God is judge. Selah
Hear, my people, and I will speak to you, Israel, and I will testify to you: I am God, your God.
Not for your sacrifices will I rebuke you; but your whole burnt offerings are before me continually.
I will not take bulls from your house, nor goats from your flocks.
For mine are all the beasts of the woodland, cattle on the mountains, and oxen
I know all the birds of the heaven, and the beauty of the field is with me.
If I should hunger, I will not at all tell you, for the world and its fullness are mine.
Shall I eat the flesh of bulls, or shall I drink the blood of goats?
Sacrifice to God a sacrifice of praise, and render to the Most High your vows.
and call upon me in a day of affliction and I will deliver you, and you will glorify me. Selah
δὲ ἁμαρτωλῷ εἶπεν ὁ θεός ἵνα τί σὺ διηγῇ τὰ δικαιώματά μου καὶ ἀναλαμβάνεις τὴν διαθήκην μου διὰ στόματός σου
But to the sinner God said, Why do you recount my ordinances, and take up my covenant through your mouth?
But you hated discipline and threw my words behind you
If you saw a thief, you would run together with him, and with adulterers you would place your portion.
Your mouth has abounded in evil, and your tongue has woven deceit.
Sitting against your brother, you were speaking against him, and against the son of your mother you were putting a stumbling block
ἐποίησας καὶ ἐσίγησα ὑπέλαβες ἀνομίαν ὅτι ἔσομαί σοι ὅμοιος ἐλέγξω σε καὶ παραστήσω κατὰ πρόσωπόν σου
These things you did, and I kept silent; you supposed lawlessness, that I would be like you. I will reprove you and set it in order before your face.
Understand now these things, you who forget God, lest at some time he seize, and there be no one to deliver.
Sacrifice of praise will glorify me, and there is the way by which I will show to him the salvation of God.
