He will say to the Lord: My helper you are and my refuge, my God; I will hope in him.
For he himself will deliver me from the snare of hunters and from a troubling word
With his pinions he will overshadow you, and under his wings you will hope; his truth will encircle you with a weapon.
You shall not fear from terror by night, from an arrow flying by day
from the thing passing through in darkness, from a disaster and a midday demon
A thousand will fall from your side, and ten thousand from your right, but to you it will not draw near.
Only with your eyes you will consider, and you will see the recompense of sinners
For you, Lord, are my hope; you have made the Most High your refuge.
No evil shall come near you, and a scourge shall not draw near your dwelling.
For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways
They will bear you upon hands, lest at any time you dash your foot against a stone.
You will tread on the asp and the basilisk, and you will trample lion and dragon
Because he has hoped in me, and I will deliver him; I will shelter him, because he has known my name.
He will call upon me, and I will hear him; I am with him in affliction, and I will deliver him and will glorify him.
With length of days I will satisfy him, and I will show him my salvation.
