He who lives forever created all things in common

The Lord alone will be justified

He has not made anyone to declare his works, and who will trace out his great deeds?

The power of his greatness, who will number it? and who will add to recount his mercies?

It is not possible to diminish nor to add, and it is not possible to search out the marvelous things of the Lord

When a man finishes, then he begins, and when he stops, then he will be left at a loss.

What is a man, and what is his use? What is his good, and what is his evil?

The number of the days of a man is many years, a hundred.

As a drop of water from the sea and a pebble of sand, so are a few years in a day of eternity

Does not a dew make a heat rest? So a word is better than a gift.

Is not a word better than a good gift, and both are with a gracious man

A foolish man reproaches ungraciously, and the gift of the envious one melts away the eyes.

Before you speak, learn, and before sickness, heal yourself

Before judgment examine yourself, and in the hour of visitation you will find atonement

Before you become sick, humble yourself, and in time of sins show repentance.

Do not be hindered from paying a vow in due season, and do not wait until death to be justified.

Before praying, prepare yourself, and do not be like a man testing the Lord.

Remember wrath in days of end, and the time of vengeance in the turning away of face

Remember the time of famine in the time of fullness, poverty and want in days of wealth.

From early morning until evening time changes, and all things are swift before the Lord.

A wise man will be cautious in everything, and in days of sins he will be on guard against transgression.

Every intelligent man has known wisdom, and to the one who finds it he will give thanksgiving

Those who are prudent in words, they themselves also became wise, and they poured down exact proverbs.

Do not go after your desires, and restrain yourself from your appetites.

If you grant your soul favor, it will make you the prey of your enemies' desires.

Do not rejoice in much luxury; do not be bound by its association.

Do not become poor by spending from loans, and there is nothing to you in the pouch.
