Lord, Father and Master of my life, do not forsake me in their counsel; do not let me fall because of them.

Who will set scourges over my thought and discipline of wisdom over my heart, so that they may not spare me for my ignorances, and their sins will by no means pass by?
so that my ignorances may not be multiplied and my sins may increase and I may fall before my adversaries and my enemy may rejoice over me
Lord, Father, and God of my life, do not give me haughty eyes.
and turn away desire from me
And let not desire of the belly and intercourse seize me, and do not give me over to a shameless soul
Hear the discipline of the mouth, children, and he who keeps it shall by no means be ensnared.
In his lips a sinner, and a reviler, and a proud one will be caught; they will be scandalized by them
Do not accustom your mouth to an oath, and do not become accustomed to the naming of the Holy One.
For just as a servant being examined continually will not be lessened from a bruise, so also the one swearing and naming continually shall by no means be cleansed from sin.
A man who swears many oaths will be filled with lawlessness, and a scourge will not depart from his house. If he transgresses, his sin is upon him; and even if he overlooks it, he has sinned twice. And if he swore in vain, he will not be justified, for his house will be filled with calamities.
There is a word that is comparable to death; let it not be found in the inheritance of Jacob, for from the devout all these things will depart, and in sins they will not wallow.
Do not accustom your mouth to shamelessness, for in it there is a word of sin.
Remember your father and your mother, for among great men you sit; lest you forget before them and by your habit become foolish, and you will wish that you had not been born, and curse the day of your birth.
A man being accustomed to words of reproach will by no means be disciplined in all the days of his life.
Two kinds multiply sins, and the third will bring wrath.
A hot soul, like burning fire, shall not be quenched until the sexual man is swallowed up in the body of his flesh; he shall not cease until he burns up fire to the sexual man. All sweet bread shall not grow still until he dies.
A man transgressing from his bed, saying in his soul, Who sees me? Darkness is around me, and the walls cover me, and no one sees me. What should I fear? Of my sins the Most High will surely not remember.
And the fear of him is the eyes of men, and he did not know that the eyes of the Lord are ten thousand times brighter than the sun, looking upon all the ways of men and discerning into hidden places
Before all things were created, it was known to him; so also after their completion
This one will be punished in the broad streets of the city, and where he did not suspect, he will be caught.
So also a woman leaving her husband and presenting as heir from another man’s line
For first she disobeyed the law of the Most High, and second she trespassed against her husband, and third she committed adultery in fornication, and she produced children by another man.
This one shall be brought out into the assembly, and there shall be oversight over her children.
Her children will not spread out into a root, and her branches will not bear fruit.
He will leave her memorial for a curse, and her reproach will not be blotted out.
And those who are left behind will know that nothing is better than fear of the Lord and nothing is sweeter than to give heed to the commandments of the Lord.
