1 With three things I was beautified, and I rose up beautiful before the Lord and men: concord of brothers, and friendship of neighbors, and a wife and husband behaving together toward one another
2 Three kinds my soul has hated, and I was greatly vexed at their life: a poor man proud, and a rich liar, an aged adulterer lacking understanding
3 In youth you did not gather, and how would you find in your old age?
4 How beautiful to gray hairs is judgment, and for elders to know counsel.
5 How beautiful is the wisdom of old men, and thought and counsel for the honored.
6 The crown of elders is much experience, and their boasting is fear of the Lord.
7 Nine things I have blessed in my heart, and the tenth I will say with the tongue: a man rejoicing in children, living and seeing the downfall of enemies
8 Blessed is he who dwells with a prudent woman, and who has not slipped with his tongue, and who has not served one unworthy of himself.
9 Blessed is he who has found prudence, and he who relates it into the ears of those who hear
10 How great is the one who has found wisdom, but there is none above the one who fears the Lord
11 The fear of the Lord surpasses everything; he who holds it, to whom will he be likened?
13 Any wound, and not a wound of heart, and every evil, and not evil of a woman
14 Any wound and not wound of haters, and any vengeance and not vengeance of enemies
15 There is no head above the head of a serpent, and there is no anger above the anger of an enemy.
16 I would rather dwell with a lion and a dragon than dwell with a wicked woman
17 The wickedness of a woman changes her appearance and darkens her face like a bear.
18 Among her neighbors her husband will lie down, and he has groaned bitterly unwillingly.
19 Every evil is small compared with the evil of a woman; may the lot of a sinner fall upon her.
20 A sandy ascent under the feet of an old man, so a talkative woman to a quiet man
21 Do not fall upon the beauty of a woman, and do not long for a woman.
22 Anger and shamelessness and great shame is a woman if she provides for her husband
23 A lowly heart and a gloomy face and a wound of heart are an evil woman, slack hands and paralyzed knees, who does not bless her husband.
24 From a woman is the beginning of sin, and through her we all die.
25 Do not give water an outlet, nor to a wicked woman freedom of speech.
26 If she does not go along by your hand, cut her off from your flesh.
